When we were at the factory, they said they were "backed up" on PPF installs. I think the only delay is the extra time to install the PPF, but I highly doubt a VIN assignment would be pushed to someone who does not have PPF. Just my 2 cents.
Everything you are describing sounds pretty normal compared to our experience. Not sure about the āgrindingā noise with regen, but regen does make a sound for us, but I would not describe it as āgrindingā.
And XPEL reps have made it very clear here on these forums that their RIVIAN PPF templates are large enough to be wrapped on all edges for all panels that don't need to be removed. Shops either don't know this, or use this an opportunity to upsell.
What date do we use for ādate acquiredā? If we enter any date after 8/15/22, we receive an error saying āacquired date cannot be later than in-service dateā. Do we use 8/15/22 for acquired date as well?
Really no point in complaining about it now. You already have your vehicle, there's no recourse. And I doubt you would have refused delivery based on the installed sound system. Enjoy your ride!
Guess what, your BM seats are just as dirty. But since they are as noticeable, they just remain dirty. Either way the OC appears that dirty after just 5,000 miles.
I donāt recall them ever saying they would āreach outā to those who cancelled. I recall them saying they will reinstate if you want to, but you needed to contact them. Sorry if Iām wrong about this.
