It's happening to me right now. Camping. In our adventure vehicle. And the Rivian was locking and unlocking all night. I would like a way to disable/enable the truck from responding to any individual "key". Or at least, disable all proximity keys as a set. From the truck interface would be good...
So, yes there are snafus, but nothing actually systemic at this moment from a system upgrade. In other words, my lost VIN is just a normal randomly lost VIN ?
Just curious if anyone else is having this problem. I had a VIN assigned to me - my second one actually, but my first truck was incorrectly shipped to the wrong service center and I was told it wouldn't come back and I had to wait for another truck. Anyway, I digress...
So I had a VIN showing...
I'm really surprised by this. I don't have my R1T yet, but I do have an Avalanche and I was fully expecting it to be as protective against the elements as the Avalanche was - when it was new anyway... it's not nearly as great after 17 years :giggle:
I don't usually do any stock trading. I bought a little bit of Tesla years ago, and Rivian now makes up most of my portfolio. I set a limit order and it filled. It seemed odd to me that my purchase was below the recorded minimum. I thought maybe is was not uncommon??
Check your spam/junk folder. My PBA was there and I didn't know it. I even asked my guide why I wasn't getting a PBA like everyone else that had a locked configuration... He brushed it off and said not to worry, the process was working. I even got a VIN assigned even though there was no PBA done...
I'm starting to get mad and frustrated. I should be one of the earliest LG/FE deliveries. I was already assigned a VIN but that vehicle was reportedly shipped to the wrong place. I've been really relaxed with my guide so far and even laughed off the mistake. But as the days continue to pass, it...
I find it hard to believe so many R1Ts are damaged In transport. Transporting new vehicles is a logistically mature process and I would imagine like most shipping, they contract out a trucking outfit to do the actual driving. This no real learning curve here for transport. Yes things can happen...
