so… I’ve tested the shift to neutral above the car wash button several times at home and it works. But twice now when I get to the car wash and push that button it still shifts to neutral with break hold! And I still have to manually hard press the break. So while yes it should work, in my...

firm press of the break pedal after going into neutral. Same thing happened to me. Was holding up the whole car wash line. And the rollers would jump under the R1S. Wouldn’t budge. Push firmly down on the break and the break hold will come off.

I agree with others. I drive closer to the steering wheel in the R1S than other vehicles. But for me it’s because I’m used to driving more with my toes in other cars. And in the Rivian with the Regen driving with my toes makes my calf tired. So I need my full foot on the pedal for less fatigue.

Anyone else experiencing longer transitions between screens in this update. For instance I’ll be on the vehicle settings page, hit the nav page button and everything will go black for 2 seconds before transitioning. It happens frequently. Never more than 2 seconds. But annoying.

We have ours on the middle and back also. Found leaving it on the front whistled too much while driving. Will move one of them forward when needed.

Google (and I believe Apple as well) allow you to download offline maps. I use this feature frequent when traveling places I know will have limited reception (domestically and internationally). It allows me to continue to use maps even when my phone has no cell signal or WiFi.
