Not a Rivian owner, but they did ask me to confirm delivery and interest in LE and then sent a survey a few days later after the March 12th reveal clearly asking about color and interior choice.

Very clear its letting people know when they can configure and not they will configure in June. I can say I did get a survey in March asking if I was getting a Launch edition and what color combos I was looking for. I am pretty sure they are already using those results to build the first batches.

Definitely looks like an R1. Back window doesn't have that divider, the badging on the back pillar doesn't exist on the R2, and there is no Rivian spelled out low on the door like the R1S.
