I don't own a R1 and it took me a year to reserve, so I don't think they're circling back to the initial group. Theoretically, I shouldn't be a priority. Not a previous owner, Kind of late reservation maker, and mid-atlantic region (not an area Rivian prioritizes like NY and FL). And another...
Household usually means 2 salary households so the $200k couples cap. And usually when they say buyers, they are accounting for household, not necessarily individual salary (example, the Rivian survey I just took and they ask for my household salary not individual salary). That's a decent chunk...
Single filers in their 20s and 30s can use it. Will happily use it next year with my R2 interest. Thankfully, AGI is used and not your atual wage. Needed something to replace the student interest deductible for next year.
Maybe its just a random survey then to see what color and trim combinations they need to make for the launch. 🤷♀️ I was getting my hopes up they were starting to make the queue.
It really depends on lighting for them. If you watch the SXSW videos, the Borealis can look extremely dark or very bright depending on the lighting. Same with a lot of their line up actually. I have to say I don't recall other cars having such a drastic change between in the shade and sunlight...
That's interesting. Were you someone who said they were interested in the launch edition when the reservation updated to ask your interest and delivery information?
Just kind of curious if anyone else recently received a survey from Rivian. I received the email on the 18th. I put in my reservation March 2025, so a year ago. I had heard early on, people had surveys for their preference. I never received one, and I'm assuming it's not the same survey as they...
I am okay with you stating your opinion about her interjecting herself too much (to each their own) but assume it's a new girlfriend is a bit insulting. You just assumed she had a relationship with him rather than just someone excited about the car. Scot isn't my favorite reviewer (she just...
Whelp, going by that I'm last in line. Ordered March 2025, no R1 ownership, and mid-atlantic receives no attention from them. Add in I want the lighter interior, probably won't get until 2027 at this rate. ugh, will my car hold out until then?
I am only getting a performance model because that's the only model Borealis is on. Terrible financial decision on my part (then again 4k cheaper for premium isn't much over a couple years), but hey, I only live once and plan to keep it for 10 years.
I'm very confused. Please explain? Is it New Yorkers complain the mid Atlantic is ignored? Or that Rivian acts like New Yorkers and only acknowledges NY and FL as places on the east coast? From what it seems like most people on the West Coast and Southwest only acknowledge NY and FL and...
Man, if the premium was under 50k, I would have gotten it since my state has an EV state exemption task for EVs under 50k. Since only the RWD is under 50k, I may as well just go all out for LE then. That and it has Borealis. Though I hear the LE won't have coastal interior so I may end up...
What I want to know is when they will have the R2 in the spaces. I don't even need the ability to drive one. I just want to see one. Rivian ignores the East coast quite a bit. If you don't live in NY or Florida they avoid most everything in between (unless you count the Georgia factory.)
