  7. Chicago to Vancouver - Use Rivian or ABRP?

    I'm doing a similar route this summer (with adapter). Keep in mind the I94 route has v3 TSC east of Billings. I90 is v2 east of Billings. Your route will probably depend on if you have an adapter.

    Do charging research for Lassen. Almost hit it last summer on way back from Tahoe but bailed. Seemed to require a long L2 charge. Things may have changed with TSC access

    That and the NEC requires a derate for continuous use with EVSEs. As others have said, charging at the max 48amp requires 60amp breaker. 6/3 romex is 55amp max which doesn't include the derate

    EVSE should have never charged over 40amp with 6/3 romex. Get an electrician who knows what he’s doing. Assuming no permit was pulled
