Maybe try making a new seat preset (called Park or something similar) and when you park, switch to that preset instead of just moving the seat back. That way it probably won't move the seat back up when you next get in.
I would disable PaaK if that fob wasn't so big. Sure, it looks cool, but as a practical device to drag along it's too big for me. I am hoping (but not expecting) they will add a small, normal looking fob in the future.
Anything to do about the battery use short of not using PaaK?
I just picked up my R1T Saturday and set up my phone as a key. Works pretty well so far. But since then I have noticed that my phone seems to use about twice the energy and streaming via BT is now horrible.
I am a light phone user - so I usually only use ~20% of my phone's battery during a...
I hope this hasn't been answered already, but I haven't seen it. I am about to get my R1T and am through step 7. I got an email telling me how to self-register since they won't do it in Colorado. Someone here must have done this - can you answer some questions about the process?
The email...
I keep wondering about the springs. I don't know that their theory was correct (one was too weak, so they added a second and the combo is too strong) but it sure seems plausible, especially after looking at the wear on the plastic piece. They are screwed into the frame so they could be...
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but is S-track the same as L-track? I am new to the tie-down game so did some googling and only find S-track on Amazon but find L-track everywhere. From the pictures, they look the same to me. If there are differences, what are they and what's the advantage...
Thanks for the link! I hate how Tesla only has on screen - so I never read them. I was in the car to go somewhere, not to sit & read the update for 5 minutes...
I did this, but with the interior. Truck was waiting on inspection before shipping when Rivian announced that they fixed the wood issue on OC (by using the black wood). I really wanted OC, but when i confirmed my config OC was still on hold, so I switched to BM. My guide suggested that I...
From what I can tell, there is no rhyme or reason for who gives you the best offer. Rivian was mid-pack for me, and close to the top after the tax consideration. Carmax was ridiculously low. Driveway pulled a bait & switch (suddenly dropped offer by $8K without any reason why). Others were...
If they really are going to send you a check for over $21K I would pocket the check and live with the damage. I could certainly live with that level of ugly for $20K.
Maybe I am missing something obvious, but why do they need to charge? I can see the case where they are traveling from a long distance, I would proffer them a charge then. But this sounds like it's frequent so I suspect fairly local people.
It's just a strange situation to me. I wouldn't...
My experience with Carmax was VERY disappointing. Definitely a low ball offer - about $5K less than what Rivian offered me - and that was before the tax advantage. But my experience with all the online sellers has been very negative.
Walking on it? Laying on it? Where did this come from? What are you going to attribute to me next, that I said it should withstand being hit by a 8lb sledgehammer???
Well, it IS a roof not a chair... So while the break does look to indicate a flaw, it is not REALLY meant to be sat on.
And yes, I do thinks thats the worst thing about this. Mistakes are made, designs need to be revised and products leave the factory with imperfections. But a brand new...
The worst thing IMO was Rivian blaming the driver for the break. I've had that happen before with other companies and it completely kills any good feelings I had towards them. They don't need to disclose that this is a systemic/design/quality issue to the owner, but the last thing they should...
