I was thinking about whether a camera would be blocked or aimed incorrectly once the tailgate was dropped. Since the view is live, you will certainly see the tailgate down in the video.

Does having the tailgate down mess up the birdseye view or affect the backup camera view? I hope they would have thought about this and expect the birdseye isn't changed, but less sure about the backup camera view. Thanks

Glad that they are still one company. My investment in Rivian is largely based on Amazon's backing of them and while I am way in the red, I believe in them long term but that's assuming both businesses are still tied together.

I don't see any reason why the OP can't request Rivian to add another level to regen braking, maybe even turning it off. I LOVE it on my Tesla but have always driven manuals, so was pretty used to modulating speed by lifting off the gas. Other might also want less regen than the lowest level...

Maybe we'll get a teardown anyway, when Sandy has destroyed it and decides he might as well get some more use out of it.
