Gotcha.
Although the Hakkapeliitta 10 SUV is a bit cheaper than the R5 and, from my experience from having both unstudded Hakka (non R series) and Blizzaks, they do last longer than the Bridgestones – hard to say if the wear difference would be enough to recoup the 30% premium.
I cant speak on...
Just to understand, why did you consider the lower load rated DM-V2s? Are all the Nokian products in 275/50R22 with the proper load rating still that hard to come by for you guys in the States? They were super easy to find in my area... I know shipping and duty wouldn't be cheap, but it might be...
For those wondering about the Hakka 10 SUV in 275/50R22, here they are without studs on my Yukon, just got them last week. Great tires, 3rd set for me.
Add to this early 2019 reservation holders like me without a date: will my “processing” result in an earlier date than these few 2020’s… or will the Rivian lottery strike in Canada as well?
Or maybe not… Im in Quebec and got the “processing” message too… But with one Quebec pre-order holder getting a dated estimate, it could mean they think Quebec will be second to BC… Did anyone in Ontario get a date?
Anyway, I am not surprised, its pretty typical Rivian. Best case scenario IMO...
I’m a 1H 2023 for a LE R1S in Montreal… I think if I do get an update by the end of October, it will be to show another 3 month slip….would find it hard to believe any other service center besides Vancouver would be up and running and have sufficient volumes to deliver before next fall – if...
My order was always in USD, could anyone please share a screen capture of the pre price hike (restored) price list (underbody shield, wheels etc) for the R1S in CAD? Articles from the time say 101250$ for LE R1S, was that it?
We could even start a CAD tracker with a table showing the original...
Yeah, the Atlas’ car seat friendly tilt is great… but a nicely split bench seat can work too. I had an Aviator for a while and 2P would still fold to access third row with Dionos in 2D and 2C: both front and rear facing. Hoping R1S will be the same.
With R1S deliveries starting, it would be great if anyone of the lucky new owners with Dionos could confirm if you can put one in 2D, one in 2C and still access the third row via 2P. Pictures of front row seat clearances with a Diono rear facing in 2C would also be great.
Sure the GTA is a large chunk of population... But Quebec has the largest share of BEV sales... https://electricautonomy.ca/2022/05/27/q1-2022-ihs-how-many-zev-registrations-canada/
You said "if for no other reason". If there is no other reason (IE, no "smart features"), then no firmware updates will be required, and no Wifi. My Grizzl-E has worked perfectly since day one, without OTAs, just like my dining room table :-P
I dont, except for load sharing, most “smart” features can be provided by the cars (Dont have my R1S yet, but didnt miss anything with my M3). Less stuff to break/bug IMO.
Hello @RivianNE ,
I live downtown and would love to get a chance to try the seat – still a bit worried being 6’9’’.
Are you just driving through? If so, what highway and direction? Staying the night? I could suggest a few locations where we could get a nice bite to eat at the same time (my...
