I have a QM R1T that I picked up in December last year. If I was doing it again, I'd lease a DM. I looked today and there are standard pack leases quoted for as low as $599/mo. That'll change a bit with taxes, fees, mileage, down payment, etc, but it's a damn good deal! Plus then you don't...
I had the same issue with my R1T lease. Placed my order, got a confirmation email about the charger and $2k install credit. Then it was recalled. I made a stink about it to my guide. He eventually just sent me some free all weather mats and a sweatshirt to get me to go away. Not an even trade...
I have the stock Pirellis on 22s here in Colorado and itās fine in the snow. If you want snow tires then get them but donāt feel like you need them.
It's a good request. I've had the same thought about my R1T. My Defender has a setting on the dash screen (but not in the app) that shows dimensions, clearance, and angles depending on what suspension mode you're in and what wheels/tires you have. I'm sure it's for off road use but I use it...
On a $94K quad motor R1S, the lease price is $1060/mo vs $875/mo on a $94K quad motor R1T. The monthly payment for a loan on both of those options is the same ($1,546/mo). And they're showing some R1T leases as low as $780/mo (QM, LA Silver, 21s, BM+DA interior). So leasing a QM R1T seems...
The residual on my R1T is closer to 68%. For the R1S they've either lowered the residual or have a higher money factor as lease prices appear to be $300-$350/mo higher than those for similarly priced R1Ts.
A couple weeks ago my wife drove my R1T for the day and got some light curb rash on one of my 22" sport dark wheels. I only had like 400 miles on the truck at the time. I just took a sharpie to it. Sometimes it's nice to have the first ding/scratch out of the way
We test drove a truck with the blue exterior, OC interior, and 22ā brights. None of those three finishes individually appeal to me but they looked awesome together!
Thereās no blue in the Limestone. Your color combo is great! Also the Forest Edge interior is more subtle than it looks onlineā¦more like a grayish green (in a good way). Also, the FE interior has the best color wood accents!
USAA. $1100 per 6 mos.
I had a dude flag me down at a stoplight the other day. Rolled my window down and he asked who my insurance company is. Said he owns an insurance agency and it sounds like he's had trouble finding policies for his clients with Rivians. But USAA was super easy. And...
Agreed! Would love it if they bumped the max speed to 55. My Defender has a max speed of 50 for high suspension height and, with 45mph speed limits all around my neighborhood, Iām constantly tripping it back down to mid height. 55 would solve that for me.
I just picked up an El Cap R1T with Forest Edge interior a few weeks ago. I think it's a great color combo. The FE interior picks up the subtle green in the El Cap exterior so they work really well together. Of course I'm more than a bit biased. The other color combo I was considering was LA...
