I was looking seriously at the new Hyundai Santa Cruz. Did a lot of research. I was surprised how many times TFL reported something incorrectly about that vehicle, especially after they had access to it and the company. They didn’t dot i’s or cross t’s. It turned me off to them.
I am totally jealous. I was hoping they would do the event in Moab so I could drive down and see it.
Quick questions: Did you get to see the frunk? If so, what was the interior like? We’ve seen several versions from the mock ups to the preproduction models that don’t seem to be finished. Was...
I don’t think it will unless it strikes an agreement with the creator of the TAT. It’s proprietary and you have to pay for that information. I’ve already been looking at it as I live in Utah and it will be fun to venture both east and west from here on that trail!
I am guessing that these are old images because I don't see that the off-road features or the drift track are added to any of the images I look at (Google Maps or Earth, USGS, Bing). I think if we want something newer, then someone is going to need to get something from a commercial service.
I wonder if the MT exclusive is less for purchasing PR than for the IPO PR: a reputable source well-known in the industry that raves about the pre-production product. Rivian’s base product (for now) is the delivery van with 100,000 ordered. That’s the floor. The near-term ceiling is what happens...
Yes, you are right. And I am sorry. The original question was posed to DuckTruck in that thread by someone else and it has since been buried. I was just trying to get a quick answer and repost over there. He’s a man in demand!
So I’ve been in the market for a truck for two years now. And the second row has been an important factor for me as I have tall kids who are about to be very tall teenagers. Here is my understanding: the “leg room” metric for cars is almost useless.
That distance is the measurement is...
I’ve had a light interior before as well and loved it… until it got colored with time. But it also had a very small screen so it wouldn’t illuminate the cabin much.
I love the Ocean Coast interior option but am concerned that the interior surfaces will be too reflective at night from the glow of the two screens making it difficult to see outside the vehicle. I live in an area where wildlife are a real concern after dusk. Has anyone had an opportunity to...
No. I was told by CS that LE model production and delivery will not be done until sometime during the Spring of 2022. So it sounds like there will be overlap between the LE, Adventure, Explorer and the Max Battery pack.
I’m doing Max because I live in the Mountain West where destinations are pretty spaced out, traveling includes multiple mountain passes, and I plan on towing a camping trailer (although not one anywhere near max) or going off road with little charging support in that area. Makes sense for me...
