Good question. We are working on that.
My 21 500 EXC-F Measures ~87" long, front tire edge to rear tire edge. The contact patch of the rear tire sits at ~73-74" back from the front tire.
The R1T Bed is 7Ft / 84" (from the very front wall of the bed to the edge of the open tailgage.) A...
Mostly Generic/Amazon caps and decals and couple 3d printed options from what I have seen.
If the construction of these is similar to other Rivian oem caps probably easy enough to pop the logo pieces out and paint these black. Haven’t pulled mine to see.
Came here to post. Beat me to it. I guess I paid extra ($35) to SC for getting them early. Oh well. Glad they are there now. They are gray though for those with black powdercoat (or looking to).
Popcorn just went in the microwave. Anxious to see how it goes.
My bet/hope is that it goes better than expected, given that our brief trip was better than we planned (50%) and your load looks to be less of an aerodynamic brick than our 7 x 12 enclosed…but aero can be a tricky thing.
I...
Same. Noticed today mine stopped (again) a couple days ago. Reboot fixes it but obviously shouldn’t have to resort to that. Lots of issues getting corrected (and some introduced) in OTAs…many of which aren’t in release notes. Let’s hope this gets taken care of soon.
Sorry that happened and...
YES. We have a 2017 XC90 and the UI is often very very (very) slow to load things.
As an engine (torque) and suspension elitist there are aspects of the xc90 I don’t love…but my wife likes it a lot other than the entertainment/ui lag you describe. (But she still prefers the Model S…and refuses...
Short of a Service Manual has anyone heard exactly what they are re-torque-ing (and to what) to correct this? More than happy to climb under there and save myself and the SC some time and effort. Last time I checked, a torque wrench is not exactly an Unlicensed Nuclear Accelerator. (Just...
I have it (~1400 miles. Video attached.) and have never done a brake-launch…and have only ‘floored it’ a few times. (The EV launch novelty has diminished some after having a Model S for 6 years.)
It’s definitely not a result of ‘Launching’. This is clearly a design or (more likely)...
None to my knowledge. That’s the drawback. I expect (hopefully) that will change.
Maybe the 33-ish road tire options for the 20” that have been mentioned could be a decent option. I haven’t been in those threads lately.
So some feedback and rough numbers on our first real towing experience.
TLDR: Tows amazingly well. Range limited for sure but not as much as we expected. 21s are pretty good on this truck.
Took my son up to the NoGA mountains yesterday for his first pavement motorcycle time. He has been...
Tesla destination chargers are just Tesla L2 wall chargers installed at businesses, B&Bs, etc. and registered so they show up in listings. There is no authentication/billing. Plug in and go.
Recently charged at Chateau Elan in North Georgia.
Just be careful assuming you will be able to plug...
My ‘clicking / ticking / tocking’ sound has gotten progressively worse. Little over 1,000 miles.
I try very hard to be patient with issues like these, especially in ‘early adopter’ mode where we have to proceed with at least a little reasonable patience, understanding and support….
…as long...
