    Sounds like a grounding issue. Also did you set the amp the way I stated? That way it turns off without a signal?

    @Flyinryan When you confirm that works... can you take a side view shot of the area? I may need to add that to the install video if things have changed on later R1's. The Gen2 I did the install in was an earlier model.

    That will work as long as it has connection to metal itself (maybe sand the area near the bolt).

    There's no nut there? I did it on a Gen2 and there was a ground there. Mind taking a picture of the area?

    Note to all installing this: if not using the Y-RCA splitter. Connect the OEM adapter to the white input on the amp. I didn't add that to the video and someone DM'd me that they had to do that.

    I've done something similar in another vehicle... It's not a bad option but I still recommend running our fuse with it. But it makes powering that circuit a lot easier.

    it’s the one I used. 4 ohm should make it the same experience.
