Might not be worth the trouble for Rivian. Modifying the PCB to meet that need may not be worth it to them.

There are people in the Cayman islands who use it. You can watch the video on youtube. (They even use a rivian)

Im trying to keep the focus on the new wireless pad but... our aftermarket charger keeps the NFC reader in place (we just move it). (soonishev.com) I'm fairly confident this new charger will have both charging and the NFC reader.

Oh nice! So that's an accurate measurement. So that would be 12 watt max. (assuming no case). So about ~7 watts with case.

Wrong connector. The new charger utilizes the same found in Gen2 vehicles, and it looks like it uses more of the wires. Gen1 only offers 4.

Yup. That's why I want to see where the inefficiencies are as it its capable of 15 watts.

max rate is going to be 15 watts. I am curious how much you lose due to the mat and inefficiencies. I've used Ampere test in the past. It works ok.
