You can double check that some wires didn't snake underneath. Otherwise it's the top mat. Give it a few heat cycles in some hot weather and it should lay flat. You can tell that will happen if you it will touch the wood with a little down pressure. The manufacturer of the mats ended up putting...

Hey I know that sub! Good tidbits! Be careful with the fill. As you said the fill acts as way of slowing down the sound waves which makes the box "bigger". The box is the recommended volume for the subwoofer chosen and a little fill here would help with standing waves. Too much can result in...

I've done that last one too. That's why I added the adjustments on the amp before closing it up in the install video. As for the fork, I've also used a ring terminal that I've cut.
