I agree that it isn't a show stopper, but why compromise when a choice could be easily available and implemented. And with Rivian facing talent constraints I'd rather see them working on Mapping/Charging/Phantom Drain ect....
Good work around, just not for me. It is so aggravating because ALEXA is getting less and less functional or my speech is getting worse. She can't find contacts or selects the wrong ones constantly as of Late. I'm almost exclusively using "Hey Siri" when in the R1T.
I think Rivian is making a...
Lots of real world experience from others in total agreement with that assessment.
Be nice to see the person or persons responsible for this at Rivian have to go into a dunk tank.
Thanks I didn't, but my cheat/hack for not getting warnings is to maintain slight pressure to the left because it slightly hugs the right side of the lane. I have NOT noticed any improvement yet, but I have under 300 miles using BlueCruise atm. If I'm reading that correctly I should notice the...
One thing though, if it's happening on the closing function..And it's jumping off on one side then that might be a clearance/binding issue. But I'd think it would have to be pretty darn stuck to jump a tooth while closing.
Thankfully I haven't had an issue.
I'm just guessing that by what I saw in the picture that the cogs aren't engaged fully or at all when fully opened. And if one side is just 1 tooth off you will have an alignment problem.
The Lightning feels a lot roomier interior space wise. But I like the fact that Rivian picked a spot in the middle of the F150 and Ranger. As far as parking goes, the Ford is more "floating & boaty" when compared to the R1T. The steering doesn't feel as precise or as connected to the driver as...
Thanks for the video. My guess is that you are taking a chance if you open it all the way and rely on the cogs to engage evenly. I think I'll not open mine all the way to hopefully avoid the issue.
My opinion of Kyle’s Driver+ review was also similar to Kyle’s when I watched it.
My re-engagement? I wouldn’t call it even being close to instant. More in line with football field lengths at best. And then usually at least 1 or 2 failed engagements getting “Driver+ Not Available” messages...
Don’t take this as bashing Rivian’s Driver+. It’s just than BlueCruise does more things better than my R1T in my local driving area’s. BlueCruise has shortcomings for sure but we will see what Rivian does to compete
My experience continues to be 180 off of those expressed in his latest video where Drivers+ out scores BlueCruise.
Driver+ deactivates and won’t re-engage in places that it has worked prior
Driver+ has a long delay to re-engagement after a lane change
Driver+ has no hands free
Driver+ does...
Every time I think I've made up my mind..... I realize I haven't. The Ford is/would be a better choice for medium to long trips 20+ miles. But I operate within a 25 mile radius and the R1T feels more maneuverable and sporty. But then a Smoother Ride, BlueCruise is really nice, XM Radio, CarPlay...
