I would absolutely note the time you did the reset and put in a ticket to service so they can investigate. Great that it cleared up, not great that you had no other indicators.
FYI I never had that on my quad and nothing like on my dual.
With the new Autonomy+ package coming in Feb, what becomes of current capabilities on mapped roads (base driver+ features - auto steer and cruise)? Are we losing these and need to subscribe?
Thanks for sharing, I'm excited for the new generation of EVs.
<rant at author of MSN article> But I take serious issue with calling the Gen1 cars "compliance vehicles" since they were absolutely not that.
A compliance car is Aston Martin OEM'ing the Smart FourTwo and slapping their logo...
I will get off your lawn, but invite you to mine, where we can together rant at The Youth (while somehow trick you into watching every Hoonigan video).
Funny that this is the first thing I saw this morning when checking the forum ...
Last night, my schedule didn't initiate a charge. Am at 34%, and have meetings 40 miles away. Not catastrophic, but immensely irritating.
It was in my garage and it's not that cold in there. 55 degrees or so.
Your best bet to maintain calibration is the 22" or the 20" all-seasons. Don't use the 20" AT because they're taller.
The Michelin LTX MS2 are excellent tires. Wish they came standard.
We managed to do 2 kids and a dog with a GTI, a Tundra with suicide doors ('01), and a Porsche Boxster. :)
You shouldn't have any more trouble in the 2nd row with 2 infant seats and a kid/booster than you would in any other 3 row. Not sure there are any other options out there that will give...
I think you just answered the question - if it shows higher numbers above 50 degrees ambient, it's actually doing something smart (compared to earlier SW which was basically guess + maybe some driving history) and taking into account battery temp management energy consumption.
Very cool to...
Any changes I've seen also seem to be tied to following distance. It seems to be more lax on the distance, and then overcorrects, slowing aggressively.
Could be the season change, too, and uncovering a corner case in the sensors - I drive into the sun on the way to work and again into the sun...
I went through something similar-ish to you, and while I didn't come back to a Quad, I ended up in a dual performance.
So tonneau - yes, it works now. Just make sure it says "V2" in the config so you get the skinny-slatted rollup version. Stereo - I think it's very good, though not as tight...
I hear you. But they did manage to de-iX it, and it has at least landed on "Squinty Beaver". The lines are much more cohesive, and while the rear end does evoke the X2 (which I never liked), it all hangs together.
Great car. Won't have off-road chops at all but it'll be a great driver.
I love that color, especially on that particular car.
I also love the purple on the Rivian, and please, please let it be that in this year 2025 that RJ names it Eggplant.
🍆🍆🍆 FTW 🍆🍆🍆
Everyone repeat after me: we need more interesting colors.
We've already lost yellow, nearly lost red. Looks like purple is coming, and Miami blue is weird and I'm here for it.
Now, make a harlequin-VW style R3 and I'll get one on launch day.
I've always wondered how the economics of this would work out, so back of the napkin here:
Cost of electricity is about $0.40/kWh for high-use business (I'm sure there are discounts especially for EV use, just don't know how much)
Charging $0.55/kWh seems reasonable on the island, so $0.15 gross...
Considering I'm seeing reasonably low-mileage '23 quads for sale in the mid-high 50k range, I would push for being totaled and get a replacement.
Sorry you're still dealing with this. What a PITA, hope you get it resolved soon.
