  1. Width and thickness of Rivian crossbar?

1.356" x 3.586" From the sound of your post I'm guessing the basket bracket you're looking at reaches around the crossbar and clamps to it. I think when you get your cross bars you'll see that the intended attachment method employs the slot on the top of the bars. Much prettier and doesn't...
  2. Safe to leave 7 pin adapter plugged in?

I leave my adapter (as well as the hitch) in all summer season (frequent boat launching). Never had a problem.
  3. I hope they reassigned the engineer responsible for the horn

Question: if I did a horn 'upgrade' and later there was some 12V electrical issue, you think Rivian service might deny warranty because of my addition of a second horn?
  4. What's the use case for just the rear cargo rail system?

The hole in the top of the cargo tie-downs is the same as the ones used in a Mopar cargo system. A couple of us have designed and printed parts that also fit into the holes (the small flush button releases the item inserted into the hole. Below is the Mopar system. Here's a link to images of the...
  5. What is your "minor wish?"

Make the lumbar support setting a part of the driver profile so that it is remembered just like mirrors and seat position.
  6. Rubber Cargo Liner … any luck?

I did the same thing. A bit fussy but it protects the carpeted tailgate.
  7. Center console measurement

In my 2024 R1S the distance from bottom of armrest center console to the edge of the sloped surface where the USB-C ports are is approximately 5-5/8".
  8. Rubber Cargo Liner … any luck?

I bought the Weathertech cargo liner that covers from behind the 2nd row all the way to the lift gate (3rd row stowed). Nice quality, decent fit. It has a 'hinge' molded in where the cargo area floor bends/slopes down so the liner lays pretty flat on both surfaces. It does not cover the cargo...
  9. Drink Coasters - Rivian Wheels Designs (3D Print Your Own) 🍻

I think it may be time for Mike to buy a printer :) And you'd be amazed at all the stuff you really didn't need that you can make. (no really, for any maker, it's an incredibly useful tool)
  10. Drink Coasters - Rivian Wheels Designs (3D Print Your Own) 🍻

These are beautiful. Nice design and really nice prints. Kudos.
  11. Another Take On 3D Printable Grab Handle Coat Hanger Hooks

I do think it's odd that Rivian doesn't include coat hanger hooks on the second row grab handles but...so it goes. I looked at the couple designs I could find online and thought I could make some improvements. First, I made the hook opening larger. It will accommodate several wire hangers and...
  12. Rattling perforated metal panel in cowl (top of dashboard)

Sorry for being lazy. You're right. Nice photos by Mudito https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/dashboard-rattle-solved-using-rubber-seal-strip.42236/post-754964
  13. Rattling perforated metal panel in cowl (top of dashboard)

I've got a rattle in the perforated metal panel on the top of the cowl (cowl=the top of the dashboard below the windshield). I can press it down while driving over bumps and the rattle stops. It seems like it was secured with some adhesive that's no longer sticking. Maybe some clips. Before I...
  14. Car Seat in Back

Just shipped the tool. I'm pretty sure you'll shake your head and grin after using it. Too easy.
  15. Car Seat in Back

If you have access to 3D printing you can print one of these little tools I designed. If not, you can buy one on my webshop. MUCH easier than struggling. A bunch of forum members have downloaded and printed one. And a bunch have bought one. Everybody seems to love it. Ray
  16. Anyone transported a sliding glass door?

Rent the trailer then strap the door to the side wall. Waaay easier. But, I would watch for the potholes. Those trailers have zero suspension - very rough ride.
  17. Gen2 rear headrests - moveable?

Thanks Tammy. Glad the tool it works well for you. (yeah that Scam Alert popup is pretty eye-catching. I guess the admins have seen issues.)
