There’s a lot of discussion regarding taking up two parking spots in order to charge a Rivian at Tesla stations. I’m curious: do they make a level 3 extension cord? I’ve done a search but all of them seem to be level 2. Anyone have one? Where did you get it?
I’ve had no problems with it showing up but I have had problems with it working. One particular issue is I have to hold down the button on the steering wheel for an inordinate amount of time in order for it to work.
My guide and his contact information is still on the site when I log in. I asked a question a week ago and a different person responded. I’m assuming that my guide is gone. My guide was very helpful when I bought my R1S but post sale I haven’t had much need. Probably best if they go to a call...
I’ve had my R1S 6 months now. I have had zero problems. With regards to your commute, as long as you have a level 2 charger at home, you’ll be in good shape. With regards to an EV, the idea of not having to go to a gas station and have the expense is a huge plus. I think because you have such a...
Revin, I really want to do this to my R1S but it has a different second row- it moves to allow passengers into the third row- so I could not locate it there. There is a large below floor storage in the very back. I think I would put it there. My real concern is all this talk about the 12v...
I was actually looking into hooking up a powered subwoofer when I read your post. The car stereo installer said they would have to hook up the amp directly to my 12v battery and he took off the plastic cover in the frunk just below the windshield to look at the battery. It looks like there are...
I have not received the email from Rivian regarding the adapter yet. At least I think I haven’t. I have searched for it in my emails and didn’t see anything. Do one of you who have received it mind telling me what the subject line was? I like to search by that. Many thanks.
Like everyone else here, I don’t know what they’ll do. That being said, an argument for having the ultimate (only) four motor EV pickup and SUV that are very expensive and exclusive, makes all the other models look higher end. I think that there is room for a “Plaid R1”. And the gen 1 R1 with...
Pausing the GA plant makes a lot of sense. Preserve cash and get the R2 launched quicker out of Normal. Good strategic move. Hopefully between now and 2026 rates fall dramatically and demand comes back.
