They are sending about 1000 adapters per month. Look at your VIN and you will be able to estimate when you will get it by dividing the VIN by 1000. That's how many months it will be.
No, they will be ramping up well beyond 1,000 adapters per month. They and Ford were just initially given a first run of 1,000 each but irrational to assume that will be the run rate forever.

These comments are how FUD/bad info spreads across the internet like wildfire.

again, some common sense - Rivian has produced about 138,000 videos since 2022. It would take 11 years for them to send out all the adapters if they could only get 1,000 per month.

Ordered an A2Z EV adaptor today... My Invoice indicates: "Orders take around 10 to 15 business days to ship as we have an important volume of orders"

I'm not holding my breath, but I'll update when it arrives.
I got mine on 5/23. Ordered on 5/1. Tried it out today and worked great.

Just imagine how all the crazy internet speculation could be eliminated with some solid info on timeline from Rivian officially......

I don't think your info is any better. I'm just going by their actual performance on the ones they've sent and other promised things like bed covers and spare tires. People keep asking like it's going to show up tomorrow. Until they prove otherwise, count on many many months.

Partially incorrect. Even if they determine the third party adapter caused damage, they can only withhold warranty coverage on damage caused directly or indirectly by the adapter - not the entire warranty.
Agreed. You stated it much more clearly and precisely.

My order took about 4 weeks, I also added the dmTesla destination to J1772 as a few of the hotels have them and free charging.

It is gonna take Rivian a while to send adapters to everyone, esp. R1S owners.
On the other hand, if you want to order a A2Z adapter, be prepared for at least 1 month of waiting. I ordered mine 4 weeks ago and still haven't got mine, despite a UPS label was created several days ago.
It took a week to see movement on UPS once I received mine...they have to clear customs so some things like customs is out of their control...I also suspect the mass print labels on what they think they have in stock and may come up short so you get pushed to the following week ..4-5 weeks is better than every one else

You ordered the bundle so have two adapters coming, bigger one for the DCFC Tesla SCs, smaller one for Tesla AC wall chargers.
I bought a bag like this and put both in there and put in the driver's door. this...

Yes, you're all set. You now have a level 3 adapter to use at Tesla Superchargers and a level 2 adapter to use at home with your Tesla home charger and Tesla Destination charger commonly found in hotels, Airbnb, shopping centers and parking lots.

You might want to consider a Tesla charging membership plan which is month to month when you plan to use the DCFC Supercharger network often for road trips.

Feel free to ask any questions once you receive it and use it.

Here is a Tesla Find Us link to locate Tesla Superchargers and Tesla Destination chargers.

Right. If you have a Tesla wall unit at home that doesn't have the j1772 adapter built-in, you'll need that smaller a2z one to charge your rivian there and anywhere you find these small Tesla ac units. The typhoon will be for the big Tesla DC stations which will show on your nav as available to us. It's confusing.
very much so..... Thank you.

This is a forum, sir.
Some of like to travel beyond the grocery store. There are trips I want to take but won’t (can’t) without an adapter and access to a charging network that works. Impatience is in order.

You can always buy a 3rd party adapter if Tesla isn't sending them out quick enough. A2Z is a good one.
