If you look at eBay sold (completed and actually sold listings), you can see the prices range from low 100k's to up to the highest of $117k in Aug/Sept. I don't know either if eBay charges the same crazy commissions (EDIT: I just looked it up, they do not charge a commission, just a listing...
I had this issue where whenever I drove it, it did the proper scheduled charging, but if my wife drove it, it started charging immediately.
I can't remember exactly what I did to fix it, but I believe I had to toggle on/off scheduling for both my phone (when connected), then turn off my...
Yeah, a lot of buzz has been surrounding solid-state batteries for some time, with Toyota looking to be ahead of the game, but even then, their first models with solid-state batteries will only be plug-in hybrids. I assume to vet out and really prove out the technology first.
So I don't think...
Haha yeah, mine just developed this in the past week and it's almost embarrassing. When you brake or accelerate at lower speeds, the front suspension makes squeak noises like I installed polyurethane bushings without any lube. like I'm driving around in a 30yr old truck with custom suspension...
Thanks! Hope you get yours soon. I feel better driving it now on the freeway. Got PPF full front protection added and also had them tint the front windows.
I also bought various TWRAPS protection pieces on areas I know will get scratched like door entry and gear tunnel entry
Same here, I've owned 4 Teslas (Model S 70, Model 3 MR, Model 3 Performance, and Model 3 LR). Like others have mentioned, I never really used much of the toys Tesla came with. What I wanted and liked in my Teslas were 1 - Being an EV, 2 - fast, 3 - having basic autopilot
All of those are...
That's one thing I don't like about the R1T is how many gloss plastic black pieces there are. These scratch so easily, even from just wiping/washing over time. I'd love to get all of this including the rear roof/spoiler/aero's along the back of the cab coated.
Has anyone looked at the mounting hardware on all these other tents? I hate the Yakima soft shell style rivian sells but i teapot do like the clamps/mount hardware used: https://www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Yakima/8880735.html
Does anyone know of a hard shell RTT that has a nice...
yeah, you definitely have a good point there. I think most people coming from a gas car will still find the LFP Model 3 to be quite fast. I think I'm ruined after having the Model 3 Performance. Even the LR we had for a few months felt quite slow and I couldn't even imagine how the LFP one...
I do like a lot of the positive aspects of LFP batteries. Charging to 100% all the time would be nice so you never have to remember/think about the setting between daily drives and trips.
But there are negatives that have to be considered as well though right? Such as weighing more, slower...
Interesting to see the comments, almost makes me think something is wrong with my suspension.
I'm coming from a Model 3 Performance but I do own a 2004 Tundra. Both cars feel vastly tighter on turns than the R1T. Whether I'm on soft or stiff suspension, I feel like the truck feels like a boat...
