This looks fantastic!! We are thinking about pulling the trigger on a small airstream this weekend, if for any reason it falls through we will order! :)
On a recent trip to the Grand Canyon, my R1S was having difficulty charging at Electrify America (I know shocker). But the symptoms were interesting. It would start charging and then fail at 8-9kwh, the charger would report vehicle error, and the port would turn red. Throughout the trip this...
Can't wait to check it out. It installed on my vehicle yesterday at service. Rivian is busy replacing the wrong part on my truck sometime early next week I should get it back. Unfortunately my R1S will be right back in service after this repair of the charging system fails.
As a Tesla and Rivian owner, this thread is pretty insane to me. I will continue supporting both companies and am thrilled NACS is being adopted. The Plug, yes the actual plug is much more reliable with internal latching mechanism that does not break every time its dropped and a third the...
Fits great, behind the third row but not a prayer it's going to fit in the frunk. Even if you take the false floor out to have full depth of the subfrunk, it's too wide to sit lower in the frunk and its way too tall with the false floor in place.
trust me it's not even close to fitting
Following along on this thread. We have a dometic 35 that fits awesome in the back behind the third row, but would love it to fit in the frunk instead.
lesson learned. I should have read the forum before my service appointment. I for sure thought something was defective with my R1S ac compressor.
It's been very hot throughout Southern California the past few weeks. the air conditioning can't keep up but the truck sounds like it's cleared for...
The biggest issue I had with the Lightning and road trips was the awful charging curve. Don't even bother to charge above 80% because it basically slows to below Chevy Bolt charging at that point.
While this isn't a huge issue if you have frequent charging stops planned, when towing its a...
I have *MANY* thousands of miles in both Model X and R1S and many others (Ford Lightning, Model S for example) My Model X was a much better built vehicle than my R1S although newer than yours as you said you drove from 2016-2019 so I assume 2016 build? My R1S has more rattles, squeaks and noises...
I agree with much of this, I love my R1S, but if I didn't want to offroad, I would have a Model X back for sure. My R1S build quality is terrible, literal paint missing in some parts, tailgate is so far out of alignment it looks like it was in an accident (and service just made it worse). Every...
I have a 2023 Model 3, 2022 Model S and an R1S - To me the Rivian ride quality, driving dynamics are the worst of the bunch. Its more capable offroad and the interior is beautiful, but in terms of on road driving, its no where near as refined. Doesn't mean I don't love it, I didn't buy it for...
