My R1T has a 12v outlet on the front dash below the main screen. Not there on yours I assume? There is also one in the gear tunnel but you have an S….
I did not try putting it over the bed but unless I install it backwards I don’t think it will fit and it will drastically hang off the back and for this trip. I’m going to have a bike rack with four bikes on the back so that won’t be an option. Also, it’s only about an hour away so I don’t...
Indeed. Actually fits quite a bit better than I expected and looks great. Even the antenna wing on the roof fits perfectly in between one of the ridges on the box.
Sorry I couldn't make it but Sunday got crazy busy and that 4-6pm window was tough for me - especially since this is 15 minutes from my house. Glad you all had fun and what a great collection of Rivians!
Whelp, I put the crossbars on the truck this morning and will be testing the fit of the box today. It should overhang 2' on both the front and the back. I think it will be fine given our camping trip isn't very far away.
It’s not an “issue.” Updates are released on a rolling window and not everyone gets them on the same time. I got the ABRP update last time 2 weeks after the initial people started downloading. This one, I got the day it was released. Just be patient and they’ll push it to your vehicle...
Super helpful, I just need this dumbed down like you are talking to a 1st grader in order to understand it:
"The vehicle shows up with a manufacturer u-box AG with the OUI (first 3 hex digits of the MAC address) is 54:64:DE ..."
Edit: I found the u-blox AG Manufacturer, thank you - thats the...
Wow that's a super cool change, I wonder why they wouldn't mention ANYTHING about this in the release notes? The ability to see the battery % is a nice update.
I always think it’s just the stability of the update. The last operating system was super buggy for me, and while this one didn’t mention any specific improvements, it just seems to be smoother overall..
Updated to the newest version and the compressor was noticeably quieter upon start up than before, but wasn’t overly hot this AM. Will continue to watch!
Looks great, but I am bringing 4 bikes on my hitch rack so wouldn't be able to use a hitch mounted box - that space is reserved and the bikes are most important!
Yes, from what I have seen it's not a major range hit. This was on an R1S though, correct? I have an R1T so trying to fit the XL over the roof or bed is problematic.
