Dude, relax - and please stop sending me messages to stop "hijacking" your thread and to delete my posts. My post is 100% related to climate scheduling which is tied to batter preconditioning. I
No, it has to do with climate scheduling with is directly tied to battery preconditioning. And...
No, I’ve only DC charged the truck a few times in its life and never around home. The garage is probably 40-50* ambient temps. I saw 100* the other day leaving at 5am for a ski trip - I set to precondition by 5:10am and asked to pull from the charger to maintain battery. I have a charging...
My climate schedule always works (cabin is warm, seat heaters on etc) but what I can’t figure out is the battery preconditioning. Sometimes my battery will be 50*, sometimes 70*, and sometimes about 100*. I can’t figure out what causes what….
I agree, I would rather have the powered version, but I was "forced" into this decision in order to take delivery of my vehicle. For the pre-hike price it works great - I wouldn't pay the full boat price either.
For what it's worth, I've loved my manual tonneau cover, it's very easy to use, works great, and have had zero issues. I know lots of people have complained about theirs, but mine has worked great since receiving. March 2023 delivery, received my tonneau Dec 2023.
I couldn't wait to get rid of the stock 22's in winter - they were great early on but with a little bit of wear, horrible. The snow tires have been the best purchase so far for this vehicle for me, bar none.
Ya, the drive home was rough. It routed us through Clear Creek Canyon and we went basically 10 mph the entire way, however it looked like I70 was a disaster (was closed Westbound and multiple accidents) so although it was slow, it was safer. After 93, I think I passed 5 accidents on the drive...
Oh damn were you MTNRIV? I wish I would have known would have said hi - I was the Limestone a few chargers down from you. Tough visibility day outside the trees but it was GOOD today!
It did take us two hours and 45 minutes to drive back to Broomfield leaving at 2 o’clock.
Thanks again, we are here now and the last charger filled up about 7:45a — pretty good for a Saturday! They let me into the lot and we didn’t need to charge but decided to anyways.
Weekends work a bit different, it’s $20 for the early riser lot unless you have 3 people but free for EVs but you pay $0.35/kwh and then an overstay fee after 4 hours.
Electricity Usage Fee: $0.35/kWh. Overstay Fee: $5/hour after 4 hours. Total charges capped at $30. Weekend parking fee: Waived!
Did some reseach - honestly, don't need the EV chargers at A-Basin. At $0.35/kwh + idle fees up to $30 I am better off charging at home for $0.15-0.19/kwh (TOU rates) with solar and parking somewhere else.
Can anyone fill me in on the 10 chargers at A-Basin, especially weekend availability? I'm not so concerned about charging, but more parking in general and cost. It looks like you pay for charging, but parking is free - otherwise would be $20 on weekends without 3+ in the vehicle. Do they...
Cool, another useful update and I'm looking forward to the various ride/suspension settings. Some other things I didn't know I needed as well. Still waiting for Alexa to allow me to fold the mirrors (or 1 touch somehow).
Does anyone know what this means?

Ha that looks AWFUL - mine weren't close to that but at 12,000 were downright dangerous in the snow, I was all over the place.
I plan on running Michelin X-ice in the winter and the Terrain Contact HT in the summer (opted for the HT over the AT version as I do most of my driving on highway).
I use Recirc for my heat when it’s very cold (plus seat heater etc) but typically have to switch between Auto and Defog as the windows fog quickly. Defog does work great however!
