  1. Review: Nokian Hakkapelitta LT3 Winter Tires (Non-Studded) on Rivian R1T

I had an issue with simple tire where I couldn't order installation because they didn't have the Rivian on their selector. But, got the tires for about $1,200 - installation was another $200. Who did you order from?
  2. Review: Nokian Hakkapelitta LT3 Winter Tires (Non-Studded) on Rivian R1T

Non studded version. If it was bad enough that I'd need studs, I'm not going anywhere.
  3. Review: Nokian Hakkapelitta LT3 Winter Tires (Non-Studded) on Rivian R1T

A few weeks back we were traveling over the Santiam Pass here in Oregon and I hit a patch of ice, the truck got a little squirrely. I then read on the forms that others were less than impressed by the AT20's in packed snow / ice. So I decided to get a set of snow tires for the rig. I have...
  4. ? Our Rivian R1T Owners / Delivered Stats After 500+ Submissions

Thanks for saving me the hassle, i was just about to go look at Per Capita deliveries. I figured based on the raw numbers Oregon would be near the top.
  5. What would you do (drive or transport)?

I couldn't go through Wyoming, so I had to go a bit out of the way, but they have put the EA charger in Laramie it looks like, so that route is not feasible. Although there is a dodgy stretch in the middle.
  6. What would you do (drive or transport)?

Here is my trip report driving back to Portland. The only thing that would give me pause would be the weather. But if you can get a clear 4 days, absolutely go for it 100% https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/road-trip-normal-to-portland-after-factory-delivery-pickup.5660/
  7. What would you do (drive or transport)?

Nonsense. I picked mine up in Normal having only ever test drove a Model Y for like 30 minutes. Charging was a complete non-issue. I just used ABRP and made sure I was stopping at a charger that if I had an issue, I could make it to the next on the route. Yes it did add time, about 1 hour a...
  8. Initial charging experience and Vampire drain

According to the mobile app: overnight (~12 hours) I lost 1% about 2-3 miles of range. It was about 34 degrees, gear guard was off.
  9. Off roading using the road or sport tires?

I am in Oregon and get about 193 miles on 70% with 20" ATs. Why is the drop in range discouraging? Are you in situations where the extra 30-40miles w/o charging is a deal breaker? Or is it more about increase in costs (due to decreased efficiency). From my perspective I was all set to have...
  10. Guess I need some snow tires... my R1T hood now has a nice dent (on factory 20" A/T)

Dumb question: If I just have the shop put the tires on stock rims do i need to worry about TPMS or is that only a concern if you get a second set of rims to mount the tires on?
  11. WeBoost Install Recommendations?

I returned mine. Heard from others that based on the Rivian already having an external cell antenna the benefit works be minimal. But, I never tested that hypothesis.
  12. Owners w/ Highest Mileage Rivians So Far?

update: 5/23 11,955 miles Truck needed an alignment and the half shafts needed to be lubricated - it was taken from portland to belevue and was gone 4 days. Other than that it's been solid. .
  13. NW BEV Overlanding Club

Is that the one that crosses the PCT? My wife and I wanted to camp out there and do a trail angel station for the hikers next summer.

  15. Anyone driven their R1T from Central Oregon down US-97 to California?

I don't know how many stops, but they said charging was fine / no major issues.
  16. Pellet Grill/Smoker

Nope. It's pretty high off the bed, so it was a non-issue.
  17. Anyone driven their R1T from Central Oregon down US-97 to California?

I have not but some folks I spoke with in Yakima last weekend has driven their Mach-E up 97 without any issues (and coincidentally were driving up from Livermore). Not like for like, but the R1T has better range than the Mach-E, but is also faster to charge so they are less inconvenienced by...
  18. NW BEV Overlanding Club
