  1. Upgraded the sub in R1S with aftermarket Alpine SWR-T10 Subwoofer

based on another post it should fit. i however went with a TW1 and it barely fits since the basket is so large on the TW1.
  2. Unhappy with quality of stereo sound

yep. i used posi-taps to the pink wire. you should be able to find them at your local blue or orange store or amazon if you're lazy. used 10 gauge stranded copper which is plenty for a 300W system honestly. will post my setup in the other thread sometime soon
  3. Unhappy with quality of stereo sound

the stock subwoofer is pretty bad. it's still branded meridian, but I recently replaced it with a JL 10TW1 (2ohm) and JL MX300/1 amp and about $50 worth of NVX sound deadening mat. the stock sub weighs about 6lbs while the JL weighs about 11lbs and with subwoofers, heavier is better. the car...
  4. How has the 2023.34.0 Update changed the ride of your Rivian? [Vote in poll]

that would be your suspension hitting the bump stops at the end of the travel giving you that second aftershock feeling. the suspension is far too soft now, so it's reaching the end.
  5. How has the 2023.34.0 Update changed the ride of your Rivian? [Vote in poll]

standard height soft was always fine for me being comfortable. now that same setting feels like an ICE truck / SUV. low stiff before reminds me of my 2 door sports car with adjustable coilovers. now low stiff has too much body roll and wobble while occasionally hitting bump stops. not great and...
  6. How has the 2023.34.0 Update changed the ride of your Rivian? [Vote in poll]

said it in another thread, but they really borked the settings here. should have given us a comfort mode, and left soft and stiff mostly alone. soft feels like a boat now and is unusable. stiff feels more like the old soft and does not feel stiff whatsoever. i do like the low speed improvements...
  7. Update 2023.34.0 -- Improved Handling & Ride Comfort, Phone Call Steering Wheel Functions, Set Speed for ACC / HWA, 25% Better Sleep Range Loss

soft = boaty. stiff = soft. not a fan at all. in stiff previously it would be pretty jarring to hit a speed bump unless going slow, not great, but it was par of the course for a stiff suspension setup. i felt that it had too much rebound before. now it feels like they eased both compression and...
