Soooā¦ā¦.
Was leaving the deer blind last night, driving through an otherwise innocuous field that Iāve been driving through all week. However, earlier in the week, temps started slight below freezing - and rose to ~ 50F. Coupled with about 1ā-1.25ā of rain over 3 days and the field got a...
This is actually very interesting to know. At that rate per kilowatt hour and knowing how many miles I traditionally get per kilowatt hour, this breaches the cost of driving my Ford F-150. I've estimate the F-150 (for me) is ~ $.24/mile and at the electric rates listed above, my R1T would...
Too often I think people post negative reviews and gripes about their customer service experiences, so thought I'd share a quite positive interaction.
Last Thursday my passenger window stopped rolling up all the way, being about 1/8" shy of closing. This produces, unsurprisingly, a large...
Mine definitely has, but I attribute it to the temps in the Midwest being 98-102 over the past 8 days. It was frustrating that the cabin wouldnāt cool down during a 30 minute drive. Seems much better once the temperate moderated slightly.
You raise several great & valid points. My only hang-up is that I have installed the power tap into the rear-view mirror that I really don't want to go to the customer service center for install - just in the event they don't like what I did. I realize that going to Safelite will result in me...
Annnnddd - I just found out I need a new windshield. For anyone that has done the mirror power tap, have they ran into problems with windshield replacements? I don't exactly love how all my wire-tap and extra wires worked out and I ended up having to splice the wires. Not nearly as clean as...
I presume that if you get a new windshield, that you have to take it to a customer service center for "calibrating"?
I just got a chip, which grew into becoming a long crack, yesterday. Looks like I'm headed down the path of windshield replacement. Given that I have the radar/mirror hardwired...
I (actually my wife) just got a rock chip on the R1T. Itās slightly larger than the size of a quarter, but not by much. Has 3 small veins to it. Iām hopeful that it can be repaired, because I selfishly donāt want the hassle of replacing the windshield.
However - IF I do have to get the...
Alexa in my R1T seems pretty jacked up for the past couple of days. When driving down the road, I noticed the āAlexa blue barā was on, which means it was listening. I then said āAlexa stopā and the blue bar on the main screen stopped. However, Iāve also noticed that when I issue an Alexa...
Same way here. I back my R1T into a tight spot next to my air conditioner units and tilt down mirrors let me see my gap left. Especially at night, I struggle to see via the cameras and am not willing to have a mishap in that area.
You're definitely right. My process just had some unforeseen issues arise.
3 minutes in perfect conditions. Until your rearview mirror falls off and then call an audible.
Luckily it all went back together perfect and hopefully it is a stable connection that I never need to revisit (nor have...
Sorry - I worded the question quite poorly. I meant to say - can you change the name of the LOCATION of the charger?
Iāve changed the names, but when I go into charging history, it all says āOP - Homeā, regardless of what charger I used.
I have two Rivian branded home chargers. One for my primary residence and another for my hobby farm. Both chargers indicate location as Overland Park, which is my residence. My hobby farm is in a different town, so not sure why it canāt say a different location.
Am I missing something obvious?
Dumb question - what kind of fluff do you have at your service center? I'm not complaining that I live quite close to a service center at all. However, mine is quite bare bones and barely has a sitting area. Wasn't sure if other ones are much more elaborate, so thought I'd ask the question.
TIA
I chuckle at this (not chuckling at you). The tax code gets more and more complex, written by bureaucrats that donāt fully take into account the ingenuity of good olā American people. They try to box people in with more and more guidelines and then magically forget some.
Iām all for people...
