our R1T was totaled last month by a drunk driver. Just make sure your insurance makes you whole. There is no reason for you to get a poor assessment on the value of your R1S. If you don't agree with the amount of the check they are sending you, tell them to find you one for the amount they are...
It's what they mean. The R1T shop has some vehicles left over that have not sold. Mostly it is a few Launch Mode ones. I was in the shop 2 weeks ago getting this new replacement truck and I saw them and asked my rep what the deal was with the cheaper launch mode ones. If you live in an area...
notice the * with it. They still have a few launch modes left over. So if someone near a service center is willing to take certain color and wheel combos that haven't sold, they can get one quickly.
what you paid doesn't matter. I got original pricing as well. What matters is the type of insurance you have. There is ACV (actual cash value) and there is RC (replacement cost.) In most cases you want the later. Especially with mass produced vehicles. Say a chevy tahoe that is 2 years ago and...
my understanding is this varies by state. But in GA they do factor in the taxes and registration. That was about $6k above what they estimated the truck at.
Definitely from the top glass. There is a lot of strong wind today in Atl area and I had a few times today where with cross winds I was getting some noise from the A glass on both sides. But with regular wind conditions yesterday I wasn't hearing that at all --not even at 80 mph.
On the OG I...
The vehicles were all at their current pricing that they would charge anybody else. But the insurance company had to make me whole too. All the comps they could find at dealers were more than the cost of new builds. So I came out in good shape.
Also with Rivian nationwide total replacement...
They told me the best thing to do to quickly get a new one was to put me back in the RT store. There was a large variety of options in there, but instead of choosing the exact same options I changed it up a bit. Basically almost every option they have was available in the store when I looked...
Rivian got me a new R1T just 27 days after a drunk driver crashed into us and totaled the OG.
Just a few quick things:
I loved the OG truck. And the way it protected us made it an absolute no-brainer to stick with Rivian for all future purchases. It was a low 3000 VIN. The few little blemishes...
FWIW: When my truck got totaled out on April 20th I had 54% battery on the charge. Since then, the truck has sat in the salvage yard at progressive in direct sunlight. (I can still see the truck on the app, excuse I don’t know how to take it off my app.) 3 weeks later it’s at 13%. The cabin...
I’ve been looking to buy a new set of these. I left the old ones in my rivian that got totaled. But the rivian store hasn’t had them in stock. Does anybody know if Rivian has said anything about when these will be available again?
nah. I loved my original truck. We got hit by a drunk driver a couple weeks ago and it was destroyed. I have a thread message on the crash. Can’t link to at the moment though.
I loved the way the 22s felt on the road. I liked the idea of a little better range with the 21s. But I don't like the style of the wheels as much on those. And the 22s have gotten better range over time through OTAs anyway. So it was a pretty easy choice to stick with them.
Exact same situation here on my replacement R1T. It's been at the atl service center since last Thursday. The delivery button has not opened up. I wish it would....
This is a good point. It's always seemed to me their strategy was similar to the AMZN strategy in this regard. The future of Rivian will likely depend on how things go with the R2 products. The R1 is exactly what you said, a car that is made better than the price tag. R2 will need to be very...
ok thanks. FWIW, I had the 22s on my truck that got totaled a couple weeks ago. Progressive rated the tires as “normal moderate wear with 50% tred.”
I had 18,775 miles on the truck. I’m going with the 22s again on the replacement truck
