    The man in the picture that looks in shock is not me. I’m the one that took the picture. That guy is actually the man that was behind the drunk driver. He was in shock because of what he saw. The little boy is my kid though. That man stood over there with him while my wife was trying to get there.

    NO he didn't walk away. The loaded him on a stretcher and took him straight to the hospital. I am not sure how fast he was going. The speed limit on that road is 45. He was for sure going well over that. And he never slowed down or did anything. It was full steam ahead at us.

    My son is younger. He was in the back. Directly behind me. That dashcam thing is my next question too. I had not yet gotten the OTA update pushed. But I wonder what kind of data rivian collected from the crash anyway.

    Yeah my vin was in the 3s. I got original pricing and had wrapped it with PPF and ceramic too fwiw. I assume there is No way I’m ever made whole. At this point I have to mostly hope the folks at rivian will work with me to get a replacement and not be moved to the back of the line. And I’m not...

    i am in GA. Not sure about the fault rules. Already submitted stuff to progressive tonight. I had full coverage. Hopefully this all goes smoothly.

    As for the spare tires. They are all ruined. I tried to run up on the curb to the avoid the impact some. And it scrapped the passenger ones badly.

    100%. We prayed for the other man too. What he did was really bad. But at the end of the day, it’s Material and material get be replaced. Lives can’t. I’m honestly so thankful we had this rivian. I don’t think we would have easily walked away from this sort of crash in a smaller/lighter vehicle.

    Will the truck have a video of the moments before the crash? I had not gotten the OTA update yet. Bu I wonder if there will be a video anyway.

    Thanks guys! I’m encouraged that y’all also think totaled. I wouldn’t want it to be attempted to be fixed. No way it ever is right again. Tonight I’m just thankful we were in an extremely heavy and well built truck.
