Took delivery yesterday (standard shield) and had to crawl underneath to check it out. Should there be a front (plastic?) shield under the front drivetrain as shown? Are the unused mounting fasteners only for the reenforced shield?

Interesting. Does the VIN match between when you started steps 1-6 and your actual vehicle? It would be amazing if the vehicle went from factory (Normal, IL) to SSF in 1-week.
