As a Tesla M3 and R1T owner from SF Bay Area, I was very curious to the EV environment in Nashville TN during a family trip last week. Nashville is certainly remodeling (some might say gentrifying) their downtown and the search results for available (non Tesla) level 3 chargers was very...
I saw a R1T in Kauai last week in a sea of Tacomas! Also saw a few Lightenings. Browsing the EA app, I did not see any fast charger options. Home charging is the only real solution it seems. Hopefully you have solar.
6 months, 5000 miles, and approximately 20-30 opening closing events for the cover, it finally died. Now it looks horrible, can't stow my bike, poor aero,
Despite constant application of PTFE dry lube (see stains in image), I believe a small stick or other tree dropping is the culprit...
I want to cry reading all these low rates :CWL:
PGE NorCal with solar. Now with a heatpump water heater, any EV charging is above my solar capacity so I rarely charge at home.
Home avg $0.48/kwh (0.35 transmission + 0.13 generation) (<10% charge source)
Local EA DCFC 0.37/kwh starting 6-Mar...
I had a small chip near the base of the windshield that grew before I had it patched. The leg was 4" and was initially deemed unrepairable. However, a mobile repair guy said he would attempt to fix it but without a warranty. So far the best $100 I have spent with no evidence of growing...
iPhone 12
I had this issue last week/weekend and resulted in using the key card or fob even after soft and hard reset. After not driving for 3-days, it worked normally today (iPhone only). I'll continue to carry my card key just in-case. Not ready to try repair option at this time.
Same here. 4.5 months old and first issue. Hard reset and so far so good. One note, truck was not driven for 72 hours, then okay yesterday for 10 mile round trip. Then this morning error messages appeared when leaving driveway this morning.
I had the same missing panel with my on-road R1T (112xx). I noticed it my first night, crawling around inspecting my new toy. I made a service request and it was replaced 6-weeks later.
We had a very easy trip to North Lake Tahoe today thanks to RAN chargers in Sacramento and Truckee. Both delivered peak power of 216 kw. Charged to 80% at Sac and arrived in Truckee with 33% cruising in mostly rain between 60-70 mph.
Since the s/w update, I've noticed reduced regen following Level 2 charging (up to ~70%) for the next 2-3 miles. I don't recall limited regen following Level 3 charging to ~75%. Seems strange as the battery is warm from charging for limited regen.
Installed yesterday, range went from 205 to 206. Max range for each mode did not change (293, 270, 267).
What is the "Reset" button (bottom left corner) for on Drive Mode screen? In what scenario would I hit this?
At this point (within warranty period), I'm not willing to modify any component. I've not needed a handle thus far as a driver, however passengers have missed the A-pillar option.
Another Riv Blue and SC combo
Simple solution for a single MTB. I have a Santa Cruz Hightower XL with 29s that just fits diagonally. I also add a bungee cord between the right fwd corner to left back corner over the frame. So far, so good.
YES! I came to this string to specifically look for this issue. I washed my R1T for the second time this Saturday after 39.1 installed. The first wash 2-weeks ago was perfect - no issues. For this wash, the charge door and door handles opened twice despite wash mode enabled. To confirm, I...
*UPDATE: Service appt corrected this issue with replacement of internal part that was damaged during initial assembly process. Both sides are now flush and tight.*
There does not appear to be any snap features to retain this trim piece. Both sides are barely held in-place with the edges...
