@AnninSI - outstanding to know! I almost did this since it's right off 95 but then didn't because I wasn't sure if there was more than one charger and I didn't want to wait. Bad irony here since I ended up waiting an hour at the Florence Walmart! Buceees is awesome, thank you!

@Treebeard I’m on my trip now and it’s going well. Charging has been pretty easy especially at RAN and Tesla. I’m thankful for the folks who chimed in here to help. The nav system really is incredible. And I love how I pick up a few more miles as a little buffer between charge stops

@naninanipoopoo there's something wrong with the housing and nozzle. It pushes into vehicle when hose collar is pushed back and I attempt to connect. Service call!

Thanks @SwampNut but I'm confident from some of the other responses to this thread, that there's something wrong with the nozzle and casing on my compressor. The housing is loose and the nozzle pushes into the side of the vehicle when the hose is pulled back to connect.

@COdogman - sounds like a few others have had the same problem so I'm going to add it to my next service visit. Thanks for chiming in!

@AnninSI - oh thanks for sharing, this is so good to know and really makes me feel so much better! I'm doing this 1200 mile trip by myself and have only had one other road trip experience, which was short in comparison, so have been a little keyed up. Thanks for putting my mind at ease!

@AnninSI - Bigsky indicated some additional detail and I'm wondering if you had to do this at the particular Tesla station in Columbia, SC?...... Charging at a Tesla supercharger with magic dock. The process is not exactly plug-and-charge as it is with Teslas, but it is not that complicated...
