I have 85k on my R1T. I got 40k miles on my first and second set of Pirellis. I have no complaints with the Pirellis. I decided to try Michelins on my third set of tires mainly because they were cheaper and I have always had good experiences with Michelins in the past.
I had 2 sets of pirellis on my R1T - both sets lasted 40,000 miles. I will go with the 21". My guess is there will be other options available before they need to be replaced.
The Discount Tire in New Bern has also been awesome! They paid attention to everything - even had the jack pucks out and ready when I arrived. Well run and polished is accurate statement.
We will get catalina cove with coastal cloud interior as soon as it is available - hopefully an LE. No way my wife will go for the black interior. We have the ocean coast interior on my R1T and love it.
I just installed a solar array with the Franklin battery and am also waiting to be able to plug in my R1T or soon to be had R2 into the generator outlet - that would be awesome!
Service guy on phone told me to use torx T2 bit. I kept telling him it would not work - finally figured out they are security torx screws. Service guy should have known that!
