Dropped my R1T off for service in Chelsea yesterday. The lot was PACKED with new R1T's awaiting delivery. There was only a single parking spot open in the entire place.
But why leave the holes up front? I'm already dealing with enough rocks hitting the factory PPF there that it has holes already.
Having a giant hole in the flap defeats most of the purpose of these things.
This wouldn't be a topic of conversation if every house/building had a solar roof, and every parking lot had covered parking with a roof of solar.
We don't need to generate the electricity on the car, we just need it to be more places. Roofs are the ideal spot for panels.
Finally was contacted by Rivian service. They are trying to get me in for an appointment the third week of August to take care of all the issues.
Updated them on a number of issues and ones that are no longer concerns. Very receptive with a good attitude of "we're going to make it all right".
I had this happen between my two passenger doors over the weekend. First time in the 90's is when it occurred. I reported it, along with some other issues.

Checked this morning. Missing one fastener from the rear Sheila in the back corner, about 8 were loose, and the majority of them needed 1/4 turn or more to snug them up properly.
Also found wire harness stays not mounted and more front end cable/hose brackets loose.
Replaced the missing hardware...
