Better yet, until they get the battery drain issue resolved, Rivian should let Logan flyers park at the service center to stay topped off. I'm sure they wouldn't mind shuttling us to the airport once in a while....
And chargers installed!
Now I know that I have a chance of making it home after parking 500' down the road at PreFlight Parking for a 5-7 day business trip and returning to a truck with 5% battery left from the vampire drain :D
As someone who has always wanted a green truck and never had a green truck, I'm sticking with my color. I just hope it doesn't mean a later truck than black.
The ability to customize modes, or have your own pre-sets.
For example: Conserve mode, but with soft suspension in all-purpose height. Because man, the lowest suspension setting on conserve is BRUTAL over bumps. I'd still want the original Conserve mode, but having 4 or 5 customizable pre-sets...
This is the only real issue I've had concerns with before my truck arrives. This is BIG, and needs to be a top priority at Rivian to get resolved.
As someone who travels, this is majorly concerning.
And while I'm home, I'm wondering how much electricity the truck will be using constantly...
I will be using my truck primarily for towing/camping duties at track days.
I usually have AC power access at the track and usually just plug my enclosed trailer to one 20 amp circuit.
To be able to charge the truck over a 2-4 day event, I'd likely be limited to a 20amp level 1 charge. That's...
Well that was fun.
HOLY **** that truck is fast. Like, woah.
Drove in a truck identical to the one I have on order, aside from AT tires/20" wheels vs the 21" with road tires I ordered.
Man it's nice.
Didn't have the newest software, but that's ok. My Pixel 6 in a case charged instantly...
They initially said they don't do them....
I didn't push, but when they asked how far I came to see one in person (I haven't until today), they decided to make it happen.
