While I know your post is not deceiving in any way, it made it sound the wheels were getting shipped soon due to the "ASAP." But now I have to wait another 5 weeks is disappointing since it comes from China. I already ordered my tires when I saw that post.
Oh well.
I'm pretty sure in my Tesla it would put the driver in time out and not engage for the remainder of the trip. It's the same I think.
I haven't tested it out cuz I do not unbuckle during a drive unless my vehicle is stationary.
275/60/20 is "basically" the same without needing to get Rivian to recalibrate (or whatever the term is to swap the readout for wheel size change. I think it's 0.3% difference, which is negligible in real world.
Just watch this video. Stop fighting lol
Everything factors into range. Tire rolling resistance, tire and wheel weight, etc.
From the video posted, it looks like rolling resistance and weight factor the most changes. The wheel size portion imo relates to wheel and tire weight since downsizing...
What's the size of the center cap so I can buy some off Amazon to replace the default?
Or I'll ask you guys to do a custom one for me. I went ahead and shot you guys a email and pre-ordered the satin rims.
Thanks!
Honestly, if tread wear is that even, you probably don't need it.
My Tesla wore evenly so much that they never had to be rotated even after 30k miles.
Some will probably just say go ahead and do it though.
I'm not an audiophile like some people, but I do enjoy a good bass. However, every panel starts rattling beyond belief.
My settings is upside down V to avoid rattles.
