Hi,

Anyone know what the service wait time is at the Costa Mesa service center? A few months ago it was 2-3 months....

Thank you for your time.

They quoted me 3 months on something but put you on a list for spots that open up. Mine went from 3 months to the next week. Did not need the service in the end as I did the repair myself on tailgate. So canceled.

Was not latching on the passenger side. Found a thread on this forum that explained how to fix it, seems to be a common problem. You have to remove all the cladding in the bed right side to ger to 2 over tightened bolts that hold the latch in place. Took me 45min to do and never had the problem again.

I bought my truck in mid March and then it had fitment issues on delivery and some damage. On the spot, I put in the service request and they gave me July. A week or so later a service advisor called me to follow up and see if he could get something closer or have the mobile service come fix it.. He said he’d call me back and never did.

All of these stories seem crazy and absurd for $100K+ vehicles. The thread I just posted (https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/tampa-service-center.26553/) is a different take on the wait time issue. I'd rather wait longer to drop my vehicle off, but have them get right to it, as opposed to having service schedule you a month out, and then wait 3-5 days before they even do anything to your vehicle.
