People spew a lot of FUD about EV batteries which is just not supported by real world experience. Lots of real world experience with batteries going over 200,000 miles and more where ICE are junked at 150,000 on average. My original Tesla S is still going strong at 160,000
  5. Rivian towed my operable truck 5 hours away without telling me they would charge to bring it back

Yes. That's part of the purchase decision. If you know service is five hours away, you have to understand that you'll have to drive ten hours for service or pay for tow.

  13. Torque News - Insurance Companies Are Canceling Tesla Cybertruck Coverage Citing Low Production Numbers

They seem to have given up on selling cars. All of their models are old with only minor updates. There are much better options from many other companies. Sales keep falling. Musk keeps hyping robotaxis but they are late to the game and it's not clear there is a path to success.
  14. Rivian V2X V2H Solution available now using PointGuard/Sigenergy BiDirectional?

I don't understand how a pyro fuse which can handle 150 or 225 kW charging would blow with a 10 or 20 kW V2x load.
  15. Rivian needs more destination stops a la Tesla diner

The Tesla diner is a stupid idea. I do like Rivian's Yosemite outpost. More of these.
