I got an email from Rivian and immediately went in to complete it. My guide is out of office so it seems like it’s automatic when your truck is through inspection. hoping you hear about yours soon!

Just had my step 8 unlock today with a scheduled delivery of tomorrow! There’s hope folks!

How far away is too far away from a service center? Wonder if you can just pick it up much closer. I mean it can’t matter if you are actually farther from a service center because we’re allowed to drive these all across the continental US and they have to be able to service it anywhere.

Did you hear anything about the inspection process? My guide said it can take a few days as they’re very thorough and are even checking software/electronics (forgot exactly what he said).

My guide mentioned that they’re trying to get the 8 steps out earlier than on prior orders to give more time to fill it out. Apparently it was tied to your vehicle being at the delivery center (or already through inspection?) in the past but that’s no longer the case. Also worth mentioning that...

I might be going out on a limb here but I think I might like the forest green more than launch green. Both look beautiful in the shots I’ve seen so far and I never even considered the green options. Sigh, the downfall of not getting to see all the colors in person I guess…. Congrats on the delivery!

Sure. It was simple. As it turned out I didn’t have to provide any additional information beyond what the app normally asks for. I just got a number after an hour or two based on mileage and plate # (or VIN). Can’t recall if it asked for vehicle condition as well but I think that was asked too...

I'm stuck now waiting for a manual valuation of my trade-in. The website says it should take ~2 hours. Fingers crossed!

To be fair I feel like it would be stressful to accomplish in one week as I want to try and trade-in a vehicle while also trying to get the best rate on financing. I guess I should already be looking at financing options as some folks have said there are much better deals than what Rivian is...

I’m jealous of people like you who’s orders move so fast! I was told over a week ago my truck was built but haven’t heard much since. I signed my preliminary buyer’s agreement and now I twiddle my thumbs in anticipation! Congrats on the imminent delivery! Sounds like they are doing weekend...

This was how much legroom I had with my 5’9 girlfriend driving. I’m 6’5 with ~36/37” inseam. Needless to say this vehicle should work really well for normal sized people or with kids. (This was during our demo. I don’t have mine yet)

I'm 6'5 too, there was ample space. Unless you have some crazy proportions it was more than comfortable.

Ah yeah. Maybe don’t temp fate but I sure there will be options to mount it without drilling into the front bumper. I’ve seen options on other vehicles that mount underneath/behind the bumper. I Well that’s disappointing. I’m sure someone will offer one of those front mount kits that can mounts...

I’ve had 2 cars so far without a front plate and never been pulled over for it in 10+ years (in King county) so I’m going to keep going with it. I don’t really feel like it’s enforced.
