Someone gave me an idea to put the truck into "Camp Mode" to see if the truck levels. To my surprise it leveled itself in the garage perfectly. See the attached pic. I'm not sure what this means but it's encouraging to see that the truck can level itself.
Yes wombat. I like it.
Hope you...
On my truck the driver side (both wheels) is about 1.5 inches lower. See attached pictures. The garage floor is level. If I park the truck in the same spot but just facing the opposite direction, the driver side sags the same way.
I've only driven two other R1T's. Both had less than 1k miles and both made the same exact sounds as mine. I think there would be more complaints if this is normal. I noticed the sounds on theday I got it. I took several of my "car guy" fiends for rides and they all noticed it immediatelly.
Do you mind listening to the linked video of my truck and letting me know if this is the sound that you were hearing? I had mine in service and they told me it was normal. While my truck was in service (with ~400 miles) they gave me a loaner with about the same miles. It made the same exact...
I just went out and changed the suspension settings around. Going up to the highest setting is ok. When attempting to go into sport mode I get this message. I’m certain the truck isn’t being lowered onto anything. It also looks like the truck “settles” a bit unevenly.
Has anyone seen this warning light on their dash? I’ve had the truck for about 5 months and 2k miles. I tired the master reset and deep sleep. Opened a ticket with the Rivian service 3 days ago but haven’t heard from them. I always drive in the “All Purpose” mode with auto height off. Don’t...
I have posted a video of mine (above). It's hard to explain but it can be heard on the video. I took it to the service center when it had ~300 miles. They gave me a loaner, another R1T with ~400 miles and it sounded exactly the same. The tech told me that it is normal. I find it hard to...
Very nice. I tried that also but I don't think I tried that exact spot.
I think Rivian must have done something remotely because there use to be a special character ("?") in my last name. That looks to be fixed too. Not sure if that is what was causing the problem.
It magically started working. The "Set Up" under keys went away and the key fob now works. I'm not sure what was done. It's possible that Rivian did something remotely since I called them yesterday.
I recently updated my truck to version 2023.6.2. Everything went smoothly. I went to check out the proximity unlocking/locking using the Rivian Key Fob. It did not work. I made sure the setting in the infotainment is turned on and it is. The key works fine if I use the buttons to lock and unlock...
I went this route. I wanted to be able to pull into my garage without taking the bike off first. I have a few inches to spare (assuming I don't put the suspension into the highest setting).
Not sure how much aero impact it will have.
Here is my setup. I have been thinking about this for over a year. Now that I have my truck I went this direction. I had couple of requirements. I didn’t want a hitch mounted version because I’m worried about being rear ended. I’m pretty sure it would happen as I was heading to some “important”...
