Assuming you have your app setup with a payment method that is working, then yes it is as simple as plug and charge on the RAN. Yesterday was the first time I have paid at a RAN charger ,which I was just testing to see if it works, and it initiated and charged to 50% no problem.

I am able to set the departure range with app version 2.5.0 on Android. See attached screen shot below for how I do it. I thought this was available for a while but I can't remember which version it was added.

For me it is the smooth towing ability and auto leveling suspension. I have owned 4 other vehicles that I towed/tow with and the Rivian is by far the best.

Boy do I know it. My other EV is a 2016 Nissan Leaf and this summer in San Antonio was hard on it. I only charged overnight on 120v AC charging but the battery still degraded because the battery is air cooled.. I am now waiting to find out whether Nissan is going to replace the battery or buy...
