My R1Sr will drift off the road to the right after 30 yards in ANY MODE. It CAN be aligned. just like any other vehicle. I do not like driving while hold my steering wheel 7 degrees to the left to drive. That isn't normal operation. My land rovers all had air suspensions and could be aligned...
I'm on the 4th attempt to get my alignment from delivery fixed. RIVIAN just can''t get it correct. I know they can because the R1T loaner was perfect. My car still drifts to the right and I have to constantly adjust the steering wheel to keep from drifting off the road. You kind of get used to...
The dashboard Grill on the R1T Gen1 is Tight, if feels solid. Did they change the materials for Gen2 R1S mine is flimsy as a piece of aluminum and is noisy AF.
I did tell them when I dropped it off at the SC that I would like to discuss a buyback and replacement.
As well as over 30 days in the shop...within the first 3 months of ownership. It was so bad Rivian made a payment for me......for literally not having a car but paying for one......

Both times (Day 1 my car broke) I have been loaned R1T Gen 1 Quads (generally I get an Uber credit)for my 6 SC visits so far in 4k miles.

Who did you initiate your buyback through? I'm wanting to replace my R1S with one that is built better. Mine has been a nightmare. 2024 December, Gen2 R1S Dual Max.
KAAR Guard (Not an option for RIVIAN) is a price of $1500 at sale on my Mach E. It covers all dents and glass.
Living in CO Those poor suckers at KAAR have replaced 2 windshields and pulled about 50 hail / door ding dents at no cost to me.
I would 100% buy this in CO if it was an option for...
Well, thats on purpose. When off-roading your wheel won't snap back and forth. The tradeoff is well, its marshmellowy on the road. I drove a few before buying the R1S. You get used to it pretty quickly. Now the turn radius IS absolutely horrific.
