So you become the one someone else calls dumb! Especially if you run into the store and while in there the guy charging on the trailer charger leaves... someone snaps a photo of you plugged into the non-trailer charger blocking traffic while the trailer one is open. Also the sign is PRIORITY...
I hear ya, but cost doesn't always mean quality. I bet half the bottle jacks in the world are made from one factories parts and the price is based on the name on the sticker.
Also I wouldn't trust my life to anything holding up my vehicle and therefore take appropriate precautions.
I already have the pucks from EV Sportsline... and a wide base I've used in the past (which ev's doesn't have) so their 6-ton bottle jack with puck extension feels like overkill for me;
Anyone have experience with just using this $30 12-ton jack (or similar) as an option (and using the...
I did notice yesterday when I was trying to click BACK to maps from Radio, it took about 4 tries. Not sure it was same glitch you saw... but yeah it wasn't super smooth for me yesterday
My R1T does this intermittently. Or it shows an OLD picture (backing in at work showed my driveway from that morning). Soft Reset always fixes it, but it's annoying when going to back in somewhere. I'd say it's taken me longer than I thought to perfect the turning radius, I always think it...
Get used to driving without using the brake. If you set it to high Regen and just soft adjustments with the "gas" I literally NEVER use the actual brake...
Takes some practice, but you can build the new habit. I promise I NEVER use the brake pedal in normal driving, the gas pedal is super...
I only do it once but have learned it has to be a quick light press... if held too long it doesn't work for me... more of a tap ONLY, then I can get it in 1 tap and not multiple
Maybe they expected the Nav to be better and you would want to use it on every trip :) Save the mental math and let the onboard computer do it.
But seriously I agree, I rarely use nav in past vehicles and just glance at the odometer as I pass road signs and do quick mental math to plan stops or...
I bought a 3 pack when got one for wife's Tesla .. tested with 1 (worked on Tesla), already zip tied the other 2 still in thebpackages to the wires both out cars... If I need to use one for the Rivian I'll post back here
So a tip from my wife's Tesla that I did for my Rivian (haven't needed to use yet for Rivian). Buy an A23 battery and zip-tie it to the jump start lead wires. This easily gets you into the frunk when the battery is dead. On the Tesla it pops the frunk, not sure exactly what hooking it up on...
Hahaha yes those stairs are no joke!
The crest at the top right before the stairs, I had to use the front camera to prove to my kids I wasn't driving them over a cliff! And yeah the stairs make you feel like your hanging in your seatbelt.... Great times!
Awesome!! Yeah just did Broken Arrow last weekend and this RAN is perfectly located for a day trip up from PHX
I'll be hitting more trails up that way soon, we should definitely get a Rivian meet up to head that way! I still need to do Soldiers Pass. I have done Schnebly before, just felt it...
Yes the Rep said it does NOT affect level 3 chargers
From the update installed yesterday it stated:
⚫ For AC charging, if the connector becomes too warm, the vehicle automatically lowers the power to safely continue charging, and a message appears on the driver and center displays.
I am...
Yes, mine was doing that too... they blamed it on the heat (I'm in AZ). turning down the amps has mitigated it. Just got pushed a new software today, maybe they fixed it there, because it seemed like overheat kicked in (which understandably it should) but then car sleeps and never starts...
RAN open in Sedona! Definitely worth a drive up! It's nice because it's actually in Oak Creek in The Collective shops, so before you hit any of the actual Sedona traffic if your coming in off I-17
Gilbert to RAN I used 70% battery
Charged 30%-80% in about 30 minutes (kids used the time for...
