The second one has the correct speed and load ratings. The price is in the correct range. I'll like B make sure it is the correct tire but it looks highly likely.
It's a hell of a minivan and I'd take it over an R1S as a daily driver. Watching some videos it is more capable offroad than I thought. Obviously not as competent as a Rivian but for the vast majority of the people it would be a great option. Lucid really nailed the interior comfort aspect. It...
I have to see my truck is pretty tight and no really suspension issues. They got the alignment right when it was just in. There is like a little driveline tick/tok when engaging drive and from then on, it is pretty solid.
If it wasn't for my wind noise, I'd love my truck.
I had my worst "tank" or drive in dry weather. I was at 1.63 mpk. In all fairness to the tires, the speed limiter was engaged a few times while doing some wind noise testing and comparitive performance testing between an URUS, Raptor R and G1 Rivian somewhere in Mexico. Where is G1 launch mode...
I think my list would be similar and they match for the most part what I like about my Teslas (no gear tunnel) but it does have launch and track mode and wish my Rivian had those too. I know Ge2 quad would but not worth the price of admission yet for me.
The ones I use most are:
Remote cabin...
They look great on your truck. Glad you are enjoying them. I still love my Territory ATs. I am coming up on about 7k miles I think with them. After driving loaners with the 22s and 21s, I can't tell you how much I missed these tires. They are slightly less efficient than the 22s and 21s but well...
I love my truck but as I mentioned upstream it was damaged while in for repair. Then while trying to fix that damage, it was further damaged. And to top it off, my initial problem wasn't resolved after being without my truck for almost 2 months.
Brief version:
Wind noise not fixed at first...
Glad you are enjoying your truck. When everything works with these as it should, you can see the brilliance in them.
I hope you get many more miles out of it.
Your post reads like a "water is wet" one. Wait until they "elevate" your service experience to where they break your truck while trying to fix it. Hope all you have to deal with is slow comms.
As time goes on, I am less likely to consider another Rivian. The ongoing issues with my such as the wind noise really diminish the enjoyment of ownership. I can only imagine how bad the wind noise would be at 130 if they didn't get everything aligned correctly. I just bought another $150 of...
I just thought I'd provide an update on my GY's. I've been stuck in loaner Rivians since the SC damaged my truck while fixing it. Then the body shop the neeed to fix it broke my pano roof so I was without my truck for several months.
In that time, I had loaners with the 22" and 21" wheel...
I've had a chance to test the new SW in Sport mode before and after the update. I tried it with a Gen 1 quad R1T on factory 21's. Then on my truck (G1 quad R1T) with Atomic wheels and the Rivian spec 20" Goodyears.
I personally think it made more of a difference with the 20's than the 21's...
Hi, I'd be interested in a R1T sunroof shade. I had tinted PPF on my sunroof and didn't need one until my roof got broken while Rivian had it in for service. Really miss the tint on the roof since we still have hot days in Texas yet this year.
I'll still take the Gen 1 and the cost savings at this point than a Gen 2. Honestly, though, every day I am less and less likely to buy another Rivian.
My service issues have just about bled out my love for the brand which was higher than I had for Tesla at one time. The wind noise is still a...
No new G2 quad data but I posted a lot of data on a Tri. Basically the only time the new Tri is faster than a Gen 1 quad is when in launch mode. Most of that is 0-60. Above that, the Tri might be fractionally quicker than the quad. The best Tri run I had was better than the best G1 quad run I...
If there is a power/signal interruption, such as partially pulling it from my mag mount, but not cleanly or totally, I can induce errors into the truck. It does NOT brick the truck. Kyle is a moron and should change his terminology regarding this.
Usually all I have to do when I have this error...
