I would upgrade if the delta was small enough. For me it isn't worth 60k more than what my Gen 1 quad is worth. Around 40k, I might be onboard. At 30k, absolutely. But reading watching some of the vids and seeing how the new Gravity performed, it really put it back on my radar again. It was a...
I think the thing that totally ruled out the quad for me was the MKBHD vid where he lined his G1 quad against the G2 quad, at the track, and the G1 quad holeshotted it pretty badly until the G2 walked it down.
They forgot to put the G2 in launch mode. The time the G2 (non-launch mode) ran was...
I think the biggest takeaway for me was MKBHD when he ran the Gen 1 vs Gen 2 and the Gen 2 wasn't in launch mode. The Gen 1 pulled it off the line and almost had it all the way through the quarter mile. So lesson is to any G2 quad owners, if you run a Gen 1 quad, you better be in launch mode or...
Been a while since I posted much about the tires. Still love them. I went to meet someone for lunch today and drove between 62-65 indicated on the freeway. Again this is with my topper on the truck too. I zero'd out my trip meter when on the highway and at cruise. I had the AC on my Gen 1 quad...
Tires are the least of your worries with this. It is the drivetrain hardware that will suffer. They might include it until the warranty claims make them rethink it.
Color me sceptical about the efficiency yet but an 8% improvement when your speeds are in the speed range you are driving is highly unlikely. I think they only claim 5% for it and that is likely at higher speed where the benefit would likely be greater.
I am sure I am not the only one who likes the concept of a sleeper. I always loved Farmtruck from Street Outlaws - IYKYK. If you don't know. See here.

I think with the topper on my truck, it makes my R1T even more...
Read through this and draw your own conclusions. It directly applies if you don't have an LFP pack (i.e. std range).

Enjoy and good luck with the install. I hope it is all you hoped it would be.
Having a topper really expands the usability of the truck. I couldn't be happier with autofitpro group buy one I did. My efficiency has been very good though I really don't care that much about it in general.
Well, some disappointing news. I was having virtually no vampire drain using the battery tender. My truck sat for a week while I was overseas. Lost almost no power and Electrafi basically said no vampire drain.
I installed the latest update and drain is back. I was gone on another trip for not...
Very happy with the overall combo. The truck feels more nimble on its feet than before. I'd do it all over again but even sooner knowing what I know now.
Catch @Atomic Wheels when on sale and they are an even better value. The Goodyears are very affordable on top of it.
If you go to Discount Tire, they won’t touch your tire if it has less than 4/32 of tread left. So based on that you have about 5/32 left.
Also check your math. I think it might be wrong.
Been there, done that with my Plaid. I went to a square fitment when I installed very lightweight, forged wheels. I still have the staggered fitment on my Model 3 Performance. Not sure if I want to invest in yet another set of wheels. Not to mention the tire warranties are cut in half, if there...
Wow, just think how many revisions they'll need to get the tonneawning or awnneau-ing to work correctly if the current powered tonneau cover is any indication. I can hardly wait.
It will be a very short awning if it is the length of the bed... Might provide coverage for just a few hours out of...
