Please don't do this. Human brains are not wired for parallel tasking. Rear end collisions where the distracted driver's foot is still on the accelerator kills way too many people and cripples even more.
Can't wait to not have to almost get into multiple, independent fights/accidents with pedestrians and other drivers while simultaneously jockeying for position at the Burbank EA Walmart station on a Sunday afternoon.
If you haven't already, consider getting ceramic tint on all glass surfaces, including the roof and windshield (keep it clear to avoid infractions). It makes a noticeable difference in how hard AC has to work to maintain cabin temp.
One big problem I hope we can address is all the dumping and general lack of waste management that goes on in BLM areas. So depressing driving through eastern Mojave and seeing all the shot up garbage everywhere. Nevermind all the industrial waste that goes into the ground/air that is invisible...
IMO, Tesla owning the standard will lead to fragmentation later down the line, similar to Microsoft forking Chromium for their Edge browser. Having multiple flavors of the same standard makes interoperability a nightmare.
Yeah, don't bother with the factory PPF, they clearly optimized it for quantity, not quality. My tunnel door and side mirror PPF was peeling within 2 weeks of delivery.
No campaigns for my 194xx build, I asked. I still love my (off)roadrunner, but wow, it was shocking how much quieter/smoother the loaner Nissan Leaf was, going 25mph over concrete roads.
I was told at the SC this is common and within spec, but they are working on a replacement part that should reduce the noise. No eta or more info but hoping they will do a campaign soon.
Just practice letting off the accelerator at different rates, you'll get the feel for it eventually. It's uncomfortable because you literally have to rewire the brain and tell it to do something different from what is automatic at this point.
I do wish we could modulate regen on the fly with a...
Sure, makes sense. IMO it's good to have multiple lots at varying cost basis, so you can sell from different lots depending on your tax liability. Similar to contributing to both Trad and Roth IRAs so you can accommodate change in tax situations during withdrawal years.
Why wait? Bigger loss means more carry-forward to offset future cap gain. It's unlikely RIVN will drastically go up within 30 days, after which you can buy back more shares at a lower price for a similar total value.
Investors are looking for profitable growth in this macro cycle. Most of that is dependent on R2 ramp and there are some huge milestones Rivian needs to hit before they get there.
You can get Tidal sub for 40-50% off if you are student, teacher, first responder, vet, etc. $11/mo for studio quality sound is hard to beat. The only thing I like about Spotify more is their daily/weekly mix selections, which can be jarring on Tidal if you listen to a wide variety of genres.
