My electrician just ran 6 AWG NMB romex. I was there when the city of Los Angeles building inspector signed off on it.
48A EV charger with 60 A breaker.
I will. Have to change my nozzle out to a hardened steel one before I do. Since I have 3 different types of sheets, I will have to do Z-height calibration on all of them which is why I am waiting.
Is your nylon-CF PA6 or PA12?
Polymaker specs the bed temp up to 95C with their ASA. I use over...
I print with my enclosure at around 40C. I have never had an issue. I have used Prusament, COEX and Polymaker. All turn out fine.
I haven't used Nylon-Carbon but hear it's a pain to use. You have to dry overnight at 70C or you will get major clogging. Need a special sheet!
I love ASA and print with it all the time for anything for autos. If it's going to be in the sun or in a car, I use ASA.
I also have my printer in an enclosure which is a must for ASA.
I have a Prusa MK3S+ and print on a satin sheet.
Not all. None of my EV chargers(4 of them including 3 that plug into outlets) require neutral including the 240V input for the portable charger that comes with the Rivian.
Not sure why some people were recommending 6/3. You only need the two hots. No neutral is needed.
My electrician ran 6/2 70 feet with a 60A breaker to a hard wired charger that will be charging at 48A.
Yeah...I have come to the conclusion I won't want to use the 12V from the truck to power this. The option I am likely going to go with is either a separate battery in the bed(as a previous poster mentioned) or a 30A power supply. I am not towing far(25 miles), fortunately, so there won't be much...
Sure looks like the frame where the shock mounts to it is broken. I am sure the type tires and off roading contributed to this. Probably going to be denied warranty repair.
Not always. My 3/4T GMC Denali powers my EOH fine through the 7 pin connector because it has a 10 AWG wire for the 12V feed. My previous F-150 could not mainly because the wire gauge is too small and I used an external connector with a heavy wire up to the battery.
I don't have my R1T yet so I...
Anybody know the spec for the current output of the 12V line in the 7 pin connector? Reason I am asking is that I have an EOH trailer brake system where the EOH controller requires around 30A.
A lithium battery BMS does not adapt voltages. A BMS purpose in life is to set limits on on how high or low the voltage of the complete battery or the individual cells can operate at before it disconnects the battery. It is also responsible for cell balancing and turning off the battery if it is...
I have built my own liFePO4 battery. I would be embarrassed to sell something that looked like that.
Maybe I should make my own Li battery for my Rivian down the line.
Only issue with using a lithium is that the charged voltage of a lithium battery vs a lead acid battery are completely different.
Another thing I though tof that may be the best solution. You can buy 120V 12v chargers that are 30A. Victron makes a good one for around $180. You can plug i tinto the 120VAC outlet in the back of the vehicle and run it to the the 12V EOH pump through a connector.
I am assuming you plan on...
