You could call now and they might be able to fix it. Mine was so close to renewal that they said they couldn’t do it. I was amazed by the call back system the have. Mind you I called at 11am and they said I would get a call back at 545pm. Right at 545 got a call and they were helpful.

If you didn’t know majority of the Rivian’s in California will not automatically get the renewal notification in the mail. I have spoken to Rivian and it appears it’s a glitch in CA DMV system. So they suggested go into the DMV or AAA. I despise both options. Got the DMV on the phone yesterday...

Just saw a FB post. I am 45 days out and getting the DMV error message etc. I got random plates via Rivian and then got Legacy plates via the DMV. I'm in the system but something is wrong.

Broken cover over here for well over 7 months. This new powered cover looks like it might be on a roll and not a series of single interlocking panels. I'm hoping they will come to my house and replace - probably not after seeing how crazy it is to get it open.

Once I hear one has shipped out. I am going to request they send me one to replace my now 6 month old broken powered cover. Personally think they will kick the can down the road on the powered covers till someone threatens a class action lawsuit.

Took about an hour with some fishing line and goo gone. Mainly the goo gone took the most time.

Take it for whatever you want. My cover worked for almost 5 months and it’s been broken for almost 3. I’d love to having a working cover again. I’m feeling doubtful. Thankfully I attempted and fixed my cover by ripping the back of the truck apart and pulling the broken panel.
