That is a standard RTT method of attachment. My RTT had the same setup, but the bracket (plate) that secures it to the OEM crossbars had a curve and a rubber sleeve to help get a more conforming fit.
I still did not like the look, feel or security of the setup, so I got some machined mounts...
We're also in Cypress. I did the exact same thing...3x fridges full of groceries, fans, networking gear, and some lights. Besides saving a ton of $$$ keeping food cold, the biggest win was keeping the internets on. We could work and the kiddo didn't notice the higher temps in the house b/c he...
I got mine yesterday. It is heavy, indeed!
Side note...I think you might be my Rivian doppelgänger, @ghanvass. Location, model, delivery date, VIN...even the countertops...eerily similar :p
Most of the mods I've done on my truck were inspired by @jebinc. I'm adding these to the list of future mods. Thanks again, jebinc!
Nord Locks for the win! They are standard in most of my tinkering projects. Too many subsea equipment failures dealt with in my previous jobs to ignore...
I have the same, above normal, drain since updating the app on my Pixel 7 Pro. It's nowhere near 7% like OP, but it is averaging around 0.5% more drain than normal.
Looking at my ElectraFI data shows that the truck doesn't go to sleep nearly as quickly as it did before the app update.
Here's...
I'm running 56psi, I believe. I haven't done a chalk test, but it feels nice enough. I might bump it up to 58psi, but with the Texas stove-top roads, the pressure easily jumps up to low/mid 60s.
I'm currently running the 126S version as replacement to the OEMs. I have a couple thousand miles on them.
I can definitely say they are much less noisy than the worn OEMs, but can't compare new to new (new OEMs were over 30k miles ago).
I have not noticed a range difference but I am running...
That's rough. I suppose Houston doesn't have nearly as many R1s running around. I have had to get rentals before. It's just first come first serve / luck of the draw, as far as loaners go.
@ER1T , I just had this same thing pop up two days ago. It very rapidly progressed to a message about a climate system fault and then critical battery issue. Turned into a brick while sitting in the parking lot at Rudy's BBQ on the phone with service hotline.
After a 3.5 hour ordeal and two...
I've been dealing with this as well. I can't remember if it started after the last update or the fix for the accelerator recall (I have 7xxx VIN). Never an issue before then.
I can say that it has been shocking on some occasions. One time sounded like a couple of slightly offset gunshots (front...
