Dang...being an android user, this is actually making me consider switching to the Apple ecosystem.....but I am hoping we can achieve the same outcome with the Rivian assistant that I hope will be released soon.
I would want the following to have me switch from my 24 Gen 1 Quad:
1) Seats with massage
2) Panoramic roof (as we currently have) with the ability to have a portion of it open up as a sun roof
3) heads up display
4) Rear passenger cooled and 3rd row heated/cooled seats
5) better battery...
I am looking forward to the google assistant....Don't use Alexa today but will definitely try and utilize google. I still struggle walking up to the vehicle with both hands carrying groceries and not able to say 'Google, open my trunk" and it doing it through my phone-> Rivian. Driving a...
Unfortunately I am on the east side (Ontario) and a 26 hour drive from there....I will be patient...I am sure it is only a matter of time before they start selling the product here - then again, with talk to tariffs and other barriers maybe there will be delays. I am in no rush since i would...
I wish they would deliver to Canada but unfortunately I wasn't able to pre-order as they currently only ship in the US. They should have a service model where they leverage existing Rivian SCs to sell and service this product....my 2 cents
I think the weight of the truck has a lot to do with it - I spoke to a local tire shop that was swapping my all seasons and putting my winters on and they said after this winter (2nd one) that I would need to get new tires since the treads had been worn out...I am 34k between 2 sets (all season...
Yes, I am ...was watching RivianRoamer and noticed that 93% of connect+ had it....and then a few mins ago got the message that it started to download the update and 44% through so should be installing in the next hour hopefully. I am thinking the remaining 7% should get it today
I will try again today but a couple days back (after the .38 update) it worked fine for me on my Samsung Android device - I was able to cast with no issue - I casted IPtV to the screen and worked great with no issue
2024 R1S user here - had the musty smell a few months ago but didnt think much of it but after reading through this thread, I lifted my tuxmats to check and lo and behold the carpet was damp on the driver's side - got an appointment for next week - I hope they can fix it soon!
I ended up cancelling my subscription....heads up it will take being transferred to 3 agents before you can cancel...painful process and they make it that way because they want you to stay. I have a streaming subscription from our other vehicle and will use that for the rivian with my phone.
I had it happen half a dozen times a few weeks back on a road trip....it is a safety issue because once when it happened it suddenly started to slow down when I was on the passing lane with cars on my tail.....I am waiting to install the latest update and see if that fixes it...
How are you able to detect this issue? I know a few people initially detected through motion sensors and cameras in their garage. For someone like me that has none of those in my garage, is there another way to proactively catch this?
